I don't think html is a wolf, for what it's worth. The role she's told me makes a lot of sense from what I know about Trilt.

SOrt of agree, but in a game where you can open and leave open communications, not setting something up for later when you may need it is kind of dumb. How hard is it to start a new conversation, and say "I have nothing to say for now, let's see how things develop?"

I would say it is negligent not to do so, and sorry but yeah, most wolves try not to have say much.

I personally think that even if you don't PM much, you should start a PM.

DVMD knows I don't talk much. Still think if you don't open or start a PM it's weird.

As we now have a vote tally, I do have reasoning behind voting LotF, but it seems to have gotten lost in the hayley bandwagon.

She role revealed as Magikarp. Magikarp is lame, but Gyarados sure isn't. I think someone may have tried capturing her to evolve her. Lack of wolf kill makes me think the wolves may have her.

On nothing but very minor feels. At the moment I buy that STL was attacked last night and that's why last night was a no kill night.

I do think it's kinda weird how similar Hayley's role is to another known role in the game. Does anybody know for sure of any role repeats (or similarities)? Hayley's role is a bit redundant to another role that I know of.

Might be cause you are a noob, but that's a big leap on the jump to conclusions map.

Not saying it has to be wrong, but to see no wolf kill, lame character, therefore she was recruited to the wolves to evolve her is missing a few steps there

I didn't know the argument was wrong. Hayley had told me I was her first conversation and rocky said there were suspicions about someone who hadn't yet opened a line of communication.

My roster jumping is a passive role. I can't control where I go - it happens automatically.

:laugh: I actually normally distrust him a lot. He was convinced this morning that Id attacked him last night. I don't feel like that's a wolf move he'd make, but he's definitely fooled me before. For now, though, I'm willing to believe him.

I just don't understand why if she opened a PM with you, you jumped on the "Hayley isn't communicating with anyone! She must be a wolf" train.

I opened a PM a few days ago just in case I wanted to talk to teep later.... But I never PM in these games. I wasn't at all surprised that DVMD didn't open one with me. I think it makes sense to open one, but I don't think people are wolfy if they don't.

Stl messaged me today asking if that was indeed my ability since BI also was roster-moving. He said usually that means one is a wolf. I know I'm a villager. My ability to move is via "teleport" since that's a move my pokemon can make.

The problem is, there seems to be information that SOMEONE who didn't open communications is a wolf

It wasn't that she wasn't communicating with anyone. Never said that. She just opened a convo with me today and I was her first. Rocky's info was from prior. It was that she didn't open one with Html and liked Allie's post. But I believe her story and immediately unlynched.

That's why I put it out there. Just wanted to check that people decided it was unlikely vs not seeing it at all.

Meh, I don't ever think about starting PMs in WW anymore, so I just kept with my usual play. I don't open PMs for convo on ww, so it isn't like I was thinking better open a PM now. It is also easier for you because you normally talk with the person below you.

I've been talking with Lupin, she opened one between us.

I just don't talk much in ww and when I do you know it is usually with certain people so didn't think twice about it.

I'm not against opening up a PM but if people start in with the, "but they won't say anything" I'm going to get annoyed. Because it is my normal, your normal, and a few other people's normal.

I don't think it's the "they won't say anything" I think it's the not even opening the PM.

I'm not getting on anyone for not being talkative. But it puts you at a disadvantage to not start a PM if you can. I stand by that. If you haven't started one, it might indicate wolfiness.

I agree on the first part. And will be opening PMs now.

I disagree on the second, if you don't normally open PMs, then not opening one immediately this game doesn't scream wolfiness to me.

Also, I know many of us use FB to communicate ww things, so hopefully those people have opened PMs on SDN too.

I am leaving for work in about 15 min and I probably won't be back until lynch has closed unless I manage to finish up at work quicker than usual... so anyway I'm saying this so you guys don't bandwagon me while I'm not able to come on and defend it. I'll come up with a lynch vote before I leave.
 
I think Hayley was just genuinely busy and didn't quite understand what was going on with the PMs. Hazelmoo's out-of-nowhere AHHHH! post reinforced that to me, so I believe her for the time being. Especially since Rocky's now stayed that she has since opened a convo with her.

I'm not one for PMs, either; I've only played WW on here once before, but I don't recall ever using PMs for anything. That being said, because the mechanic does seem important in this game in particular, I did still open a PM with the player below me. Nothing's really needed to be exchanged, yet, but it is at least an open line of communication that I'll continue to have should my roster position switch roles. I think that's why it's being stressed so much here -- it's an especially powerful tool in this game.

I don't agree that not opening PMs here necessarily is a sign of wolfiness, but it's a little odd to not do so. It was that plus her like of Allie's post and the information that html, STB, and Kam gave that made me initially suspicious of Haley. Not just that she hadn't opened up the line at that point.
