Stony Brook vs. Downstate

Which one would you guys pick?

SB for research, Downstate for clinical training.

I want both! I guess it comes down which is overall better:
strong research + decent clinical at SB, or decent research + strong clinical at downstate...

I also think that being closer to NYC (Downstate) is a huge plus for life outside of school. If you are a good student coming out of either program you will be fine for residency placement.
