Welcome to the club! Hopefully we'll get accepted off the HPA:xf:
 
So I talked to someone in the Admissions office last week and he informed me that the last committee meeting is this Wednesday(4/14). He said that Monday (4/19) would be a good time to start inquiring about where we fall on the HPA list.

Interviewed: 02/22
Decision: HPA
 
lHey we interviewed on the same day, Monday Feb 22nd. Im not sure if you remember me but im the guy who had been a chef in his past life. Who are u lol?
Do you have any acceptances yet?

Just called today - I was told to call back on Monday and that there is no WL movement yet.

Thanks for the info...although that is disappointing as a number of people on this thread have indicated withdrawing so would have expected some movement

As far as I know they don't start the movement till 05/15. So tired of this waiting game😱

Hey I just called today and spoke with Mrs. Rhoades. She said she's not sure who was telling students that information on our status would be available today and that it's still too early to judge. She said we should wait until after 5/15 and email her at [email protected].

Thanks! I called last week and was told that Mrs. Rhoades will tell me where I stand on Monday. :shrug:
 
Did anyone send in their medical stuff after they got that email? I was thinking of doing it, but I'm not on the HPA (unless they bumped me up, which I doubt is possible) and I'm not sure I want to make the effort unless there's a chance I'll get in. Otherwise I'll probably just send that information in when I send it in for the school I've been accepted to.
 
Hopefully next week we'll hear some good news :xf:

I called admissions today to ask about my position on the waitlist. They asked me whats my last name, first name, then checked something, so I was expecting the answer.... And the answer was - "Waitlist is moving. That's all we can tell you". :laugh:
 
Hi guys,

just found this thread.

Interviewed September 9, HPA Sep 30.
Clinical Campus: Prefer Syracuse.

I was early decision (which was a bad decision because no other schools touched me after that). But it does indicate that the HPA is definitely not about when you get put on it, but where they put you on it.

Congrats on those already taken. And good luck to the rest of us suffering.

Also, there is a post on the main upstate thread of someone today getting an offer for Binghamton clinical campus. And the health form email that you got was included on my decision email way back then.

yeah i picked the binghamton campus so im sure that makes a difference.

unfortunately, im going to withdraw the offer for einstein. good luck everyone!
 
congrats!!! which campus? i just turned down a bing-campus offer but kept my name on for 'cuse!

Binghamton!! I'm pretty excited 😀. I hope 'Cuse comes up for you!!

Were you accepted at any other schools? I didn't even want to risk waiting for Syracuse even though that was my preference.
 
yeah - im in at NYMC and have a good chance of getting off of Buffalo's WL. I know it might sound crazy, but I'm actually leaning towards NYMC. I preferred 'Cuse campus and wanted to buy some more time to decide between Upstate and NYMC.

Congratulations on your acceptance though!!!

Just got a call from Upstate!!!! Now it is a hard decision for me: NYMC vs Upstate. Was supposed to move in to NYMC next Friday 😕

I may be biased, but I think that most people in your situation would choose Upstate, even if purely for financial reasons.
