The WWalking Dead-Game Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The write up says that while village was killing Allie, we didn't realize that someone else wasn't "the same as they were before..."
I'm not discounting a convert, but its not Allie.
Well, of course you would say that lol

But I will re-read write up because I'm admittedly running on fumes here

Ok, rescinded. It does seem to imply that it was someone else who was not the same.

Laughing at myself a bit for the irony of my snapping at AM & dubz for not reading write ups lol

I also re-read my notes, and had had borderline sketch marks for one of Allie's first posts, so could buy the original thing.

My opinion is I'm sketched. Mel seemed to be a battling force on the side of allie today who is now a known wolf. I also feel Mel's gameplay earlier today was pure distracting at times. A wolfy move? I'll be watching you more closely tomorrow.
Do not like the wording of this here post.

Not even that bothered by the content, but this feels like fake indignance to me

Thank you to whoever is being nice to me behind the scenes, btw 🙂 I enjoy presents.
As long as people are giving out presents, you've just seen what I can do when I have some sphere of influence, lets keep that going shall we? 😉

Will be happy to go into more tomorrow should I make it to tomorrow.

Wanted to point out something that occurred to me - didn't Allie last minute claim she needed bullets? Did her role say anything about that? Because didn't pippy earlier claim she needed bullets? Not a huge stretch to think multiple characters would need that ammo, just thought it an interesting connection and wanted to bring it up on thread before night closed.

Off topic but is anyone else having trouble searching in thread for anything that happened today? Or having trouble with the app (i know I'm the only one who uses it but thought I'd ask)?
Web page wouldn't iso properly for me, wouldn't pull up any quotes yesterday from around the time of maintainance. Like I know snowy and sporty spoke but it said they hadn't posted

But KC isn't listed as infected. Do you think convert over her changing? Or you think she might be convert?

I think its sketchy af right now because of how very adamant the initial write-up was that KC was going to either die, or turn into a zombie, or otherwise become an impediment to village.

However, I have had very similar mod mixups happen in my PM when I asked questions to clarify game mechanics. There might be a healer/cure item that breaks from lore just for the purpose of this game. I'm not letting her off my radar, but for now willing to hold off on the conversion/turning into a third party zombie/whatever theorizing until I see KC do something wolfy.

Did anyone ask what this was? Ngl this feels like Jil got converted too.
It was that she posted about being seered. I though that was weird, but it makes sense, because it could have forced the seer to out themselves. I also didn't think mel could be the one to seer her, because I would have thought for sure he'd have looked into me given the chance.

N2:
With The Govonor fallen everyone felt a bit more at ease. We could continue on making a life for ourselves in this world. Walkers loomed outside the walls, yet even after last night some of you decided to go hop on the other side to go adventuring. A wall guard caught one of you trying to go out for the night. He aimed and fired, the shot rang out through the complex but missed. A bible with a hole was found on the ground and the person ran off into the night. The noise attracted walkers to come from miles around surrounding the complex. In all the comotion @Animal Midwife and @SnowshoeDog143 tried their best to make it back before the walkers but got caught up in them all. There were too many. AM was bitten by four walkers as she drunkly hoisted her self up over the wall with Snowy's help. In the effort for both AM and Snowy to make it over the wall Snowy came face to face with with one particular walker sustaining multiple bites before finally making it over the wall.
Infected is AM and Snowy

So this is seeming more like rehab, where people are not dead but likely affecting the ratio. Hoping there is a cure or treatment out there. For those that played rehab, were wolves sent drugs too, or only village?

Two people infected last night. I think SOV May have been right about the exponential growth thing. If there is a healing item then I think whoever has it can only save/heal one person and we need the bullets to take out the other people who aren’t healed.

Lynch Crayola

And someone with a bullet, use it on KC tonight please.

I'm curious why you didn't get attacked last night. Makes me more concerned that you might have bussed allie...

@Animal Midwife did you play rehab? I'm tagging you cuz you're around

Skeleton army v2.0: zombie edition

Alternatively, there is just an infection/healing mechanic in the game. The possibility of multiple people being infected makes it so the healer has to choose who to heal. Not an unheard of mechanic, usually unhealed people die after a certain amount of time.

This sounds like a failed kill attempt?

Do you think it matters who they pick to heal? Did you play rehab? Are we assuming both people infecter started as village?

Of course it matters, if the unhealed player is going to die.

I did play rehab (grrrrr). I don't think wolves got drugs...if they did they didn't take them, that would have been silly since they knew that they caused addiction.

I would not make that assumption actually. It would be much more interesting for wolves and villagers to be able to be infected. Makes the healer's job harder.

@WildZoo updated rules, no quoting mod PM’s

ETA: I didn’t play rehab, I sat that one out.

I guess I'm just confused if we are lynching the infected or we think they will eventually die, cuz if they could be wolves (not converts, originals) do we still need to lynch them to win?

That is up to each person to decide. I would like to wait to see what happens if they aren't healed, but I'm also not the healer so not like I have control over that.

You lynch whoever you think is wolfy, that's the point. Gotta try not to get too distracted by the mechanics.
