Why'd you show up like...7 minutes after lynch yesterday to say the tie was a bad idea?
Because that's when I got back online after trying to get my one cat in and taking care of a super cute/needy 5wk old kitten.

Not game related, but that kitten sucked up so much of my time this weekend! She's 5 or 6wks and only 300g! She doesn't like to eat on her own yet either and she just started using the litterbox pretty consistently, but she tracks litter everywhere because she steps in her food and/or water then goes in the litterbox (she's blind if that isn't obvious.) She's thankfully back with her foster mom now.

Day 6-

About me:
- as far as mechs go, I am pretty far "gone". Some on my planet accuse me of going to far with upgrades, and that little "humanity" remains. They are just jealous in my estimation.
- my right brain has been replaced with mech that handles the basic functions the right half of my brain handled, but mainly serves to augment the left brain. As a result, I quickly see things in the cold logic of right and wrong. Which makes me well suited to be a jailer, as jailers also function as judge and jury.
- the right half of my body has been enhanced with mech to give me grade 3 strength (grade 1 being normal human strength).
- I also have a complete weapon armaments typical of jailers. I do need to get my targets into the jail, keep them there, and protect them from extrajudicial violence until their public sentencing is carried out.

Is it really too much to ask to have a decent mech shop on this god forsaken planet? Stupid gate. The prices that cartel charges! I shouldn't have overextended myself at the card tables last night.

The only thing worse than losing all your money at cards is losing it to these &@!?ing Hatari furries.

I have been stranded on this planet for way too long. Though I have many mech upgrades, I haven't been taking good care of them. Can't afford a maintenance plan on Hatari on a jailer's wages. Not even worth it anyways, the hacks they have here. A little Descari kid could do better than the big ape over on 14th.

With my enhanced logic, I should have an edge at the tables. You can't create luck from nanoprocessors and silica fiber. I am walking evidence of that. It has been a bad run.

8 years since I have seen home. 8 years! And I haven't had an upgrade in 10?!? That is insane! When I lived under the aegis of my family, we had a master mech on retainer. Left brain upgrade? Sure! Enhanced musculature? Why not!

Scy worked his ass off to make the most of his time on Hatari. The death of the magicians on Cthulu sent all the Planets into the deepest depths of the war. He had no chance to keep up. It would be many years til a young animoid bear cub would come across his remains and wonder who he had been. This last recording and his body would later be displayed in a museum, a remanent of yet another war of the worlds. Maybe this display would serve as a reminder of what war brings, but I doubt it.

I have fallen for that a couple of times. Pretty sure dvmd and devyn both pulled it on me. Where is @devyn these days?
 
Wish I could say told you so on ffm but I would have voted for him as well, and I as I reread the thread I was hoping someone other than LIS was getting lynched, so I guess I am back to believing him. Hardly matters...we all s

Like any child raised on Hatari, Amana Mbweha was trained to be a soldier. Her family is well-known for their strength in battle, and therefore the Mbweha name carries with it an many assumptions and responsibilities. But early on her parents realized that she was more suited for stealth than fighting - perhaps the most fox-like member of the family, she had trouble overpowering her foes physically, but was an excellent scout in simulation battles. Amana's greatest desire was to live up to her family's reputation. She wanted to prove herself useful to keeping Hatari safe in the best way she could - following suspicious characters undetected and finding out their plans.

Amana spent her early years stalking through the city she called home, Mogala. It was a thriving metropolis, one of the few truly wealthy cities remaining on Hatari. Her parents encouraged these activities and would send her on tracking missions to hone her skills. But there was danger on the streets of Mogala, especially for a young girl from a wealthy family. It only took one close call - a kidnapping attempt that Amana was mercifully able to escape from - for her parents to decide to move somewhere more rural, and safer. Just as well. Mogala was leveled by an earthquake soon after.

They moved to a small town called Kilaka. The forest nearby allowed Amana to practice her tracking skills on woodland creatures, and her abilities only grew as she got older. However, she longed for the life that her parents had led when they were younger, traveling across and beyond Hatari, exploring new worlds as part of Hataran ambassador groups in times of peace. Amana knew that she could never reach her full potential in this safe little town. She needed adventure, and she needed a challenge - new sights and scents and people to track. Once she had completed the ritual of adulthood, and with her parents' blessing, she set off to Descartes, a world far different from her own. She hoped that learning about the inhabitants of other worlds would give her the knowledge she needed to protect Hatari from harm and continue the legacy of the Mbweha family.

But Amana knew she needed to return to Hatari when rumors started circulating about war on the horizon. She took her chance in the Gate Keeper turnover. Day after day she watched her home get torn apart. Her parents tasked her with a specific mission - figure out who was killing the residents of her homeworld. But the more she lurked in the shadows to avoid her enemies, the more she incited the suspicion of her friends. She felt so much that she was failing at her mission, with no one to turn to for help. With the death of Scy Robespierre IV, Amana realized she had lost perhaps her last chance at having an ally. He had been the one trying to bring her to cthulhu to learn magic, but she never got past a single illumination spell. It was too bad, as perhaps magic could have helped in the end.

These thoughts, and the inevitability of her death, passed through her mind as she stalked her target for the night. It was hopeless, she knew. She had been effectively outted, suspicions of her had faded enough that she was sure she would not last the night. Still, she had to try.

Amana, like so many who sought to end this war, was on a mission of failure. No one knew who to trust, and for good reason. There was no goal anymore. There was no clear demarcations for the future. It was all a power grab. With the deaths of the Magicians of Cthulu, Hatari lost any hope from help from that planet. Amana was on one last mission to find trustworthy help, but someone found her first. The malice held in the eyes of the killer was chilling. They laughed with all the nastiness of someone who knew there was no one left to stand in their way. "We have won. You and the people who sought peace are done. The meek shall not inherit this world, or any other."

Amana felt the life drain from her body. In her heart, she feared this statement was only to true.

Cthulu Manipulation Spell- Cthulu Manipulation Spell allows for puppeteering. This spell is forbidden as it can be used on anyone on any planet as long as they once had contact with the caster. Only the caster's ability can be puppeted, and must still be performed on a target on the same planet as the puppet. Black Market value is insane, but oh so worth it. $20

Government Connection Bribe- Government Connection Bribe lets you request an item from a Trading Post on another Planet to be delivered. Still have to have money for this and the other item. $5

I've been reading through and I had some concerning thoughts. Shelter was all three homeworlds so she could have made all the kills on Hatari before she died. There have been a lot of Cthulu manipulation spells on Cthulu. Is it possible that a manipulation spell was used on someone on Hatari to perform the kill?

Also I tried to buy the traveling spell yesterday and someone had bought it before me. I wanted to see what would happen so I didn't say anything. FB said she didn't buy it so my only guess is Ny did. @Animal Midwife what did ny give you to pass through the gate?

The hatari armor is the only lynch avoidance/night kill avoidance we've seen so I'm guessing the wolves don't have a lynch avoidance. STL had the 1st set of armor but then had to give it to AM. Ny couldn't have the second set of armor as she must have used the traveling spell and you can only hold 1 item at a time

Nyan pulled out the stops against lis which i guess was a diversion.

Kara and fb have been mailing it in so if they are villagers we are probably screwed anyway...will check back tonight

Well congrats wolves, you did a great job in setting me up and since it's lylo, and all votes are currently for me, bravo, looks like you are going to win.

Not that anyone is going to listen to me, but Ny's switch last night was super wierd, especially since we know she's a wolf now. Her last minute switch saved LIS, not me. I know WZ complained about my timing, but what would any of you have done if you came back minutes before lynch close and saw it was a tie between you and someone else and you could break that tie? I hope you'd all break the tie since if I didn't, the game would probably be over right now.

Honestly, I could lynch LIS or Ny right now. Ny's taunting is making me nervous.
