Alright, I see I have a few votes, and I have extremely spotty Internet right now (the disadvantages of living in a cornfield) and so this will probably be my only defense post (if it posts that is).

As for my role, I'm a snowager, who loves to hoard treasure in my icy cave. As such I can hold items for two nights (had the black sand for two nights) and I can avoid any thievery. I started out as a villager and still am one, though I know there isn't much I can say to defend myself, as my role has been useless and I haven't had any information at all this game, so I know I have seemed bandwagony besides the occasional suspicion that I have had.

Lynch SOV

I can certainly believe it was a slip. Lissa is a crafty wolf, but she slipped up in the Pangea game by claiming to be able to seer affiliation instead of role name, so it can happen to the best of 'em.
 
It's so hard to tell off of a person's role. I would have thought that eliv thade, count von roo and the pant devil were wolves but they weren't. I don't know what to think this cycle.

Can someone remind me why we're not lynching WildZoo? At least 2-3 times I've read WZ posts and thought "man, that just smacks of wolf."

I put in my contingent for SOV last night because of two super weak reasons: first, he's twice tried to cast suspicion on me (and I'm a villager), and second, that whole post where he threw *himself* under the bus just seemed really, really odd. I agree with Lissa that his defense seems unusually resigned as opposed to his normal put-up-a-fight approach. But, there's no way a smart pro like SOV makes a rookie mistake like the whole Mags bottling thing if he's a wolf; I almost have to buy his "senility" defense because really, it just makes the most sense to me. He wouldn't do that as a wolf.

So I'm kinda torn on whether to leave my vote where it is.

Normally SOV would go the mat defending himself.

But I dunno.... while I think that is a reason to vote for someone (playing abnormality), I think it's a pretty low-yield reason. Virtually everyone here has busy lives that impact how we play, our attention from one game to the next, how much our role interests us, whatever.... and it all can impact how we play. And sometimes we just plain feel differently. There are times I'm hot to pick a fight with someone who votes to lynch me and other times I really just don't give a damn.

Yes unfortunately conversions muddy the waters when trying to figure out who is who. Other than your "feels" though, if I recall correctly you've voted for me on other recent lynches but provided no other plausible evidence of me being a wolf other than an early clearing as a villager, which by itself doesn't really prove anything.

I said I would look into it further, and I will. I just got computer access.

Right now I don't think anyone has much evidence other than feels and who would make the best convert choices. I wasn't really expecting other people to vote for you - I'm just trying to trust my instincts.

I am accepting contingency votes, just having trouble pulling up my spreadsheet so I'd missed the two that had been sent in for today. Votes have been updated now.

Granted, I don't really understand neopets, but.... even the article I saw said that snowager wakes up and 'blasts your neopet'.

Is cool. Wasn't criticizing, was just asking to know whether I can contingent-vote going forward, too. I'm finding I really don't get much in the way of free time on this rotation.
 
Wow, I'm surprised that my post actually posted.

Alright, it looks like I'm going to get lynched. It has been really fun, and I know that my role seem wolfy, but I would much rather hoard treasure than hurt villagers.

Unless! He is so far ahead of us, that he played it to look as though he was a villager, knowing that we would use his typical style to deduce his affiliation. The reason he's so far ahead of me is because the tennis balls fell off of my walker.

there are 16 people left in the game. Best this would do would be buy him 1-2 days. There are plenty of ways to find someones alliance

Today the neopets seem deadset on finding a culprit for last nights murder. Confused about the actions of one neopet, it seems like it is the end of the line for them.. When suddenly, questions start being raised about another neopet. After revealing herself as the snowager, the neopets decide to quickly kill her - after all, she's been hoarding treasure from them for years! They drag her to the volcano on mystery island and quickly throw her into the boiling lava.

You have lynched Ashgirl, the snowager, the greedy item hoarder. It is now night. Please send in your actions as soon as possible, deadline is 10am GMT/5amEST.
 
With the population of neopia quickly dwindling, the neopets are particularly scared this night. However, this does not seem to stop several of them from running around and getting up to all sorts of shenanigans this night. The usual activities occur, neomails flies around, and the grim reaper seems happier than normal. In the morning, the neopets cautiously walk out to find a simultaneously horrifying and happy sight.

First, their beloved Escalla, the wise mover and shaker of the world, King Hagan, has been shot dead with a shotgun. She is found dead, littered in pieces around the money tree.

Drying off tears, the neopets look past her to see a slightly happier sight. Found passed out on the group in front of their neohome, stone cold dead, is wildzoo, originally the hero grundo gorix, converted to mutant grundo.
