Hello,

I am seriously considering Howard University because I had a very good vibe when I visited. My only question is what could be the benefits of pronouncing "Howard" as "Har-ard" so that people will think I am going to Harvard? I think this would really impress girls' parents when I meet them but I'm not sure about the legalities.

Thanks

Edit: I just wanted to clarify, this might not work like if I was actually in Washington D.C. and everyone knows about Howard but I am talking about when I go back to India to meet women they would not know of any schools in USA besides Harvard ~~ 🙂

Yours sincerely,
Rajamahatagunda Chopartarilikde

With the array of disabilities related to English speaking within the South Asian World, I think you'll be just fine. Hope you find an A-1 Bride!

If you pronounce Howard as "har-ard", people won't confuse it with Harvard, they'll just think you have a lisp.

Now...seeing that your name is Rajamahatagunda Chopartarilikde, I believe your best out is to pronounce Howard like a FOB Indian would. Hov-"vard", which could more reasonably be confused with Harvard.

I was hoping somebody would take this thread seriously... 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

If you need my permission bud - you got it. Pronounce "Howard" as "Harvard". You can also tell chicks that after med school you will be making 300K (without, of course, getting into details). In addition, you can say that competition at "Harvard/Howard" is around 20+ people / spot. Whatever will speed up the process........

PS: don't forget to buy a Harvard hoodie and wear it all the time; especially at the martini bars. All the girls will be yours (and some guys too).

My uncle was telling me that he knew someone who just said that he went to Howard but people thought it was Harvard anyways.

If your face is like this you can't help but pronounce it har-ard

Misrepresenting what medical school you attend is unethical.... You're better off dating someone who has extremely low expectations!

If you can't be proud of the medical school you attend, there's no way you can be a doctor.

umm actually it is very much possible to not like the school your attending yet still graduate.

also, this thread was meant to be a joke...
