I hope that's what it is! Because if there's no interview invite, and there was a change to my status...it has to be a rejection!!! :scared: I'm going to give them a call tomorrow.
 
jg, check again 3-4 hrs after you receive the email. It takes awhile to show up.
 
Any news on anyone else who received the same sort of e-mail I did? I can't find the link to schedule interviews after clicking on the most recent correspondence link.

I'll call in probably in about an hour to see if I can fix this.
 
No, but I did get this little essay below my correspondance area twice.

It scared me as I thought it was a rejection. :scared:

Anyone else get this?
 
Yeah that went up during iApply maintenance today.

Has anyone else out there been invited by both programs and is having the same trouble? I am quite sick at the moment and don't have a voice, I would really like to avoid calling an admissions office if possible, at least until I'm healthy, haha.

Under University Program Correspondence, it says this:
NOTE: Your most recent correspondence should be available here by the time you recieve an email notification that your status has changed. If you find that your letters aren't showing up until hours later, please send us a message using our feedback page. Please include in your message where you are, as we think this problem may have to do with different time zones.

What does this mean? I haven't gotten any emails lately about a status change, although my status did recently change to complete on the status page.
 
AH! I got the e-mail that my "status has changed" just now, and I have nothing either.

No one has been rejected yet, right? It's most likely an interview? How long does it take the message to show up? I'm compulsively refreshing my iApply. I'm going to be so bummed if it's the first SDN rejection 🙁

give it 2-3 hours. RELAX!!! it's most likely an interview, but don't get your hopes up just yet. don't log on compulsively! go do something for a couple hours then come back!

I got the same email! I hope we both get interviews ^_^
but just to let you know.. some people have been rejected according to the rejection thread =/
 
Hey guys and gals, I also got the status update email. Upon logging into the iapply site I found that Case is unable to interview me this cycle (as they have in the past two). So let me be the first to be officially rejected. Thank You

bummer. probably what I'm in for then. Sorry to hear it 🙁 I suppose I'll wait for the update to get to my time zone. What time is it where you are?
 
Scratch that! Interview 🙂 Scheduled it for 10/14 which is my fall break so I don't have to miss any school.

Congrats!! i got one too!! ^_^ i don't know when to schedule it though.. the earliest one is 10/7 but thats my birthday .....-_-

Go for it, and try to work in the fact that it's your birthday, the unspoken implication being that an acceptance would be a great present :laugh:

I have that message too. I'm not going to worry about it until after this weekend.

EDIT: I actually think it's more of a generic message that should have been written "your most recent correspondence should be available here if you receive an email notification..."

Hi all,

Considering applying to Case because I heard they view teaching experience very favorably (was a high school teacher for one year after undergrad then quit and decided I wanted to go back to school).

However, I'm not sure if my numbers are "up to par" (please see my MDApps for specific stats) and tried researching their matriculating class stats on their site but couldn't find anything.

I'm wondering if it's too late to apply after seeing all the interview invites on this site, and also the secondary essays will take me a while to write so if it's just going to be a waste of my time and money I'm wondering if this school is even worth applying to for me?

Thanks in advance for any advice/comments/suggestions!

*edit* If they pre-screen, even better. Also, if anyone knows whether they use VirtualEvals/Interfolio or if LOR's need to be snail-mailed. Thanks!

Did any one else's letters take a long time to be marked as "received"? Mine were sent in early August and it still says I don't have any received.
 
anyone going to interview at 9/12? We can be interview buddies!

You may want to call them. Mine were marked as received within 3-4 business days of Interfolio sending them.
 
Mine were sent via snail mail, but I'll give them a call/email anyway. It just seems to be taking too long.

i had the same problem. i called them and apparently mine got lost somewhere b/w them receiving it and actually downloading it to add to my file. but problem was solved within minutes of calling 🙂

No. The admissions offices are essentially independent. You can apply to one program, the other, or both, whatever you want to do. CCLCM won't blackball you from the UP just because you didn't apply to this program too.

Got that too.. I found out the "your interview is confirmed" link had some new information, including student hosts and contact for students to ask questions, etc.

I did too.. But for me, the info that was under the new info link had actually changed.

I sent mine in August 21 through Interfolio and they still have not been marked received (or auto). So I'm guessing they're just backed up in the office because of too many applications?

I'm thinking the same thing. If I don't get a reply to my email by Wednesday or so, I'll give the office a call and see what's going on.

call them.. same thing happened to me. I called them and it turns out mine had just been sitting there for a while! If I hadn't called, it would have sucked!

Anyone else complete for a long time.. but not hear anything? I was complete around the 20th of August. People have been getting invites the day after >.>

I've been complete nearly a month and haven't heard anything🙁.
 
The third is a monday? Haha that would be great!!! Let me see how much the ticket costs for both trips (sorry raryn, money comes first 😛 )
 
Just got back from my interview at Case, it was a great experience. If any of you guys have any questions about what to expect please ask. Good luck to those of you going soon.

Anyone apply to Case AND CCLCM

I hear that they may delay interview decisions if you apply to both schools

:crosses fingers: I was complete on the 20th-ish of August btw
I'm really surprised by how people are getting invites within 2-3 days after being complete. I'm "hoping" this is the reason, especially after seeing a guy get invites from CCLCM and Case today despite being complete on Aug. 1st.

Then again, some people applying to both have received a Case interview. Aah.. who knows.
 
Yeah, I was complete at both around mid-August and haven't heard a peep. Most the people with 2-3 day turnarounds, from what I can gather (and, let's face it, a fair bit of wishful thinking), seem to have applied only to Case.

Here's hoping!
