you can also nail a nyc residency from u of u.
thanks, I appreciate the response. I am planning on pursuing a career in surgery and my state school seems to be struggling lately. their thread is saying that 25% of their class didn't match this year! I'm not sure what that means but its a little frightening.
I too have withdrawn my acceptance offer. I hope that the spot goes to one of you, especially if Cornell is your first choice. Good luck everyone!
I have also decided to withdraw....It was a hard decision because Cornell is awesome! I hope more fo you get in.
congrats linguini! and everyone else that is coming off the waitlistHey all,
I just received an email acceptance off the waitlist! This complicates my plans but I'm very excited and definitely considering Cornell. FYI I did not send any updates/letters. I received an email last week from admissions asking if I was still interested in Cornell and I responded that I was (but did not state my intent to matriculate if accepted).
Good luck guys![]()

congrats!! did you get any correspondence before the offer?I'm in! Off the wait list today! Sent 2 letters of intent. Barring a disaster, I'm going!!!
I was accepted off the waitlist last Friday. I was at my sister's graduation from college and happened to check my email. I was totally floored.
Unfortunately, I withdrew today. It was a difficult decision, but I got some other waitlist-love that totally blew my mind.
Best of luck to the rest of you!!
Hi Linguini,
I know you were excited about Cornell. Will you be attending Northwestern, pending hearing from Penn? I have been following your progress and know you will do well wherever you end up. Congratulations on a great application season!
