If you have received an interview invite, under consideration email, etc... and want to send an update just reply to that email and change the subject line to indicate that it is an update for "Your name here". Then attach your update to that email.

I am an Idaho resident and I have not heard anything since they said that my application was completed. Am I totally screwed, or are there many other people in a similar situation? I also thought that I heard that they do a couple sets of Idaho resident interviews, does anyone know any specifics about that?

Well, I received my official rejection letter (pre-interview) earlier this week. BUT, I did manage to score an interview at Creighton today!!!

I just got an email from the Financial Aid Office and saw it say "For Admitted applicants" and my heart skipped a beat. Then I saw it said "for prospective and admitted applicants". Bummer 🙁

Are you being sarcastic? I started count 🙂o) and got to 150+ then lost my spot. There had to be at least 250 people on my email, and it only went from H-N

Edit: I just put it into Word and had it count the lines: 289 recipients

I have a weird question...What is the actual room like where you were interviewed? Were you all sitting at a table across from eachother, or where you in just a chair, no table? IDK why this is important to me, but I feel like I want an idea of what to expect.

Details on your experience anyone?

On the day I interviewed there were three different panels (in three different rooms)...so I'm not sure if they all look alike...

Mine had a relatively long rectangular table where I sat in a chair at one end (closest to the door of entry) and my three interviewers sat at the other end with laptops closed in front of them (my excom member sat exactly opposite me with the student interviewer to his right and the other interviewer to his left).

The excom member comes and gets you from the waiting room and brings you to the interview room and shows you where to sit. At the end of the interview they'll escort you back out of the interview room.

Me too. Are you interviewing this coming week or next? I'm next week, and I feel like i have so much to do to prepare, and that even when I'm done, I wont be ready!

Its good to know what to expect 🙂. My interview was with two practicing MDs from my state and a third year medical student. Some other interviewees had a UW representitive along with other WWAMI representitives. Since you are WA I am sure there will a larger UW presence.

The room was very small and we all sat at a circular table, very personable and non-intimidating. My interview was surprisingly conversational although from time to time the MD interviewer to my right kept throwing random questions at me pertaining to some detail in my answers to see if he could rattle me.

There was an ethics question, a policy questions, and an underserved questions. Some other interviewees were asked details of Obama's health care agenda and staff.

Oh that was sent out to people who haven't interviewed yet? That helps explain the long list...

If I were you, I would call and see if they're still sending out invites. It must be getting close to the wire.

yeah, it said at the top "prospective/admitted" but I don't know if it was sent to everyone or just interviewed/admitted.

It looks like it was sent to everyone, because someone earlier was asking if there is still a chance for an interview because he got the email.

One more month guys...the wait is almost over!

Good luck Doc Henry!! You will do great I bet. My roommate's classmate is on some adcoms this year at UW and he told me that it was surprising how many people he interviewed DIDN'T prepare for questions on health care systems...so I'm sure you will be fine. 😀

Also, Stella spoke about the EXCOM meeting this Friday and this is what she said (for those of you who haven't heard): We should be reviewed at it and assuming our ADCOM rep is there, they should make a decision. An email next week is good news, meaning competitive pool or acceptance. No email is not good, means rejection. She didnt' give an exact day to expect the email, obviously not monday since its a holiday, so tuesday at the earliest.

Congratulations on completing your interview. You only need to show a fraction of the excitement and dedication to the school as you do on these forums to convince them you're a good fit for their program. Best of luck on harnessing the compulsory need to stare and wai for the (1) next to your inbox.

Still under consideration here as well. Since they always say "We are pleased to inform you that you are still under consideration", does that mean that they reject some under consideration people at the ExCom meetings? Or do you think they're just trying to put a positive spin on "we really haven't done anything with your app".

On another note, have any OOR been accepted yet?

I received my second "still under consideration" email. I am in the Idaho applicant pool. Were any new Idahoans added to the class? Has the second Idaho group interviewed yet?
