1. In the table that we fill in the pre-reqs, Do we put the classes that we plan on taking? I am taking an english course (that will make it 6 credits for me) this coming fall. Can I put that in there or not?

1. if u need it to fill a pre req yes put it.

2. I would tend to stay away from it...think of it this way, do you want the reviewer to think this is your one and only accomplishment in life? Arent you more diverse then one experience? That one expereince may be very powerful or interesting, but if you already explained it in depth in the ps no reason to repeat again. it wont be any more important or powerful in the 5 lines they give you.

I put being the captain of my high school gymnastics team for two years, I know it's high school and they'd probably prefer college, but I felt it was important. And I am graduating in only 3 years, so high school is only 2 years ago for me.

My school's general chemistry lab was only 1 credit, in the spring semester.

However, each of my two semesters of Chemistry was 4 credits. So I have fulfilled the total chemistry requirement of 8 credits. I have 8 credits lecture + 1 lecture lab.

2) learning to swim at age 24. no one in my family knows how. i know, lame.
3) working up to lead in several dance competitions in high school.

Dude placing first - I would definitely list that... academic or not - sort of your call. Learning to swim at 24? Yea, that's lame - especially if you're on a sailboat haha 😉

The key to GWU is to apply early.It's a crapshoot but your odds improve greatly if you're within their stats.

It doesnt matter. I emailed them and they said that if you are selected for an interview, you will provide one then. It doesnt matter at all. If you are paranoid you can send one now.
