so the acceptances went out today or not?
Doesn't sound like it. Had my eyes dilated this morning so I was deprived of
SDN until now. This might make for a long 3 day weekend unless they are making calls over the weekend.
When did you find out, did they send you a letter by sna mail, also when did you interview?
Interviewed 22 Oct, and they said the letters had been sent out.
Ok, really weird, just after my post I got a letter in the main from USUHS. Accepted and wait-listed! I know this doesn't mean unconditionally accepted but I am still pretty pumped. It looks like the letter was actually written on the 7th of January but took until today to get here so there is no telling when they will arrive for you other accepted candidates (I am in CA).
I thought I remembered a day awhile back where they called on the weekend. I just scanned through the past posts and couldn't find it, although I found that ahowardmd got their call at 6:10PM on 2 Dec.

Congrats! How does being accepted AND wait-listed work? Never heard of it.
Well according to the letter, which was really quite brief, I have been accepted into the class by the admissions committee but currently there are no Navy slots available. They say they will let me know with a phone call when a position is made available for me.
No calls over the weekend? I'm surprised no one has heard anything.
Accepted! Air Force
Congrats! When did you interview, and when did they call you? Did Dr. Calloway call?
Me Too, I hope I get a call.ooo i interviewed on 11/19 as well
Me Too, I hope I get a call.
if anything is not full, its the army.....even if it full the waitlist usually gets completely ran through
Wow that popular.
Does anyone have any information about the length of the waitlists for the various services or how much they have moved in the past years? It seems like this information is much harder to find for USUHS than other schools, maybe because of the different branches.
Accepted! Army, and I interviewed 12/3. Dr. Calloway called this morning.
Accepted! Air Force
Any more calls today?
Congrats to all of you accepted today!
If it's any consolation, I didn't get a call either. Pretty stressful day! Since there was only one, possibly two AF acceptances (on here at least) today, I'm holding out for tomorrow!
Thanks man. It was a very stressful day. I was really thinking that I might get a call today. If it's true that all of the Air Force slots have been filled up. Then I guess what I can hope for now is a waitlist letter.
Does anybody know what USUHS's policy is on deferment of matriculation for a year? I never considered deferring before now, but an interesting opportunity has come up...I would email the admissions office, but I don't want to come across as wishy-washy before I get the unconditional acceptance!
This is a repeat post from earlier... it didn't seem to get any love...
So I will be interviewing in a couple of weeks and am trying to get my medical exam in order. I live in downtown DC and was assigned to a physician out in Germantown, but that is quite a haul for me! I called Concorde to try to get an appointment closer to me (20008) but they would not disclose the address of the physician until after I consented to the substitution. This is tricky because they only permit one switch... the ultimate catch 22. So... did anyone get their medical exam in or around The District? What are the known, metro accessible locations?

I was in a very similar situation last year, and what USUHS told me was that they only offer deferment due to deployment. You could probably press the issue, but I personally had to apply again this round (and am very glad that I did!). But, as we all know, the application process is only getting harder and harder...
Hey Everyone!! I interviewed 11/19 and got my conditional acceptance 1/20!! Go Army!!
Also, for anyone who has any questions about living in the area, feel free to ask. I'm from Maryland originally and currently work right across the street from USUHS at the NIH.
And I saw that in past posts that it seems like a lot of people know the PFT requirements but I only skimmed and saw those for men. Where can I find the requirements for women in the Army?
Thanks in advance!
