Congrats! Via email?
How do you check your "status"? Do you just call the admissions office? I can't find anything on their website.
In any case, I have to expect that no news is good news!
This is the link I have save in my favorites: https://www.hrfin.wfubmc.edu:8022/p...er=false&IgnoreParamTempl=FolderPath,IsFolder
It looks awfully long though, hopefully that works for you. If not, I believe I got the original link from the complete email they sent me forever ago.
Hey, don't be all disappointed that you're on the waiting list. I heard (and you can look back on previous posts in this thread) that a ton of people are taken off of the waiting list. I've been waiting since November, for goodness' sake! I'm keeping on waiting, since I still haven't gotten in anywhere yet.
A ton of people get off of the waitlist. As can be seen, Wake is very selective with who they interview in the first place. Once you are invited to interview you have a 50% chance of acceptance (either outright or off of the waitlist). A decent number in the current first year class were accepted off of the waitlist, so just hold on and keep sending interest letters and don't give up. Good Luck.
moreover, given that some people have been rejected post-inerview, if youre on the waitlist your chances are likely greater than 50% at this point! But as a re-applicant who has had 9 interviews so far (and one more next week) and not a single acceptance, i dont care how good my chances are... it wont mean **** till i get an acceptance =/
Man, I'm in pretty much the same position. Invited to 9 (attended 8 so far) and I have no acceptances. I'm a reapplicant and its very nerve wracking 😕
Since it seems the general consensus is to shower WF with love, I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to send an LOI post-interview/pre-decision. I interviewed the second week of Feb., but was told they wouldn't make a decision on me until March 3. Thoughts?
Anybody on the post-interview WL moved any? Any idea when it starts to move? I've been on it since December and haven't heard a thing from Wake.

Accepted off the WL about an hour ago. So it's moving.
oh wow, congrats! if you don't mind my asking, when were you placed on the waitlist?
maybe another LOI is in order...

Did you write a letter of interest prior to be accepted of waitlist?
Anyone else just super excited about the meeting this Wednesday?!
Also, for those who interviewed earlier in the cycle - how long should those of us on the chopping block now expect to wait before we hear something? Will the news come via email or snail mail?

Good luck everyone!
PS - Thanks futureNCmed for the LOI advice
I interviewed months ago and haven't been active in this thread since, but I'm just curious: Do they still do the 2 nice, 1 mean interviewer?
A few of the current students I talked to said that Wake didn't do this at all during their application cycles, but admitted they'd heard of it happening from many interviewees this year. Nobody on our day had any such experience, for what it's worth.I interviewed months ago and haven't been active in this thread since, but I'm just curious: Do they still do the 2 nice, 1 mean interviewer?
Any idea how often the committee is meeting these days? or when? I saw a post that said today. Anyone heard anything?
Yea, I really didn't like the interviews here. They are more like 10 minutes each, at least ours were. Speed dating is an excellent comparison. It is really difficult to prove your awesomeness in 10 minutes. After the niceities and small talk, you have enough time to discuss 1 facet of your application and tell them why you like Wake. Thats crucial, and from what I have heard, a lot of what they are looking for, that you really want to go there. Good luck, but you better not take my spot.
