Hey guys, I have a question about the pre-requisite courses for UMass. I was recently accepted and sent my transcript to the office the other day. I figured since I had made it this far in the process I must have completed the pre-reqs, but when I checked online about what they were, the website said that "Course work in these areas must be completed within the last six years". I am a non-traditional applicant and I graduated in 2007, which means that many of the courses that satisfy the pre-reqs were taken more than 6 years ago. Is it a possibility that I will have to re-take classes or not be allowed to attend?
Thanks!
Obviously this is a question only the admissions office can answer definitively but I know there used to be the caveat that if you had continued work in the sciences that 6 year max might be waived.
On a totally unrelated note, I have my interview wednesday during the predicted snow/ice storm and so I'm thinking of driving out to worcester ahead of time and staying there. Has anyone stayed out there and have a place to recommend?
