congrats!!!! has anybody who interviewed in october received a call? i interviewed oct 12 and loved nyu when i was there!

Ooh, they were hinting at this and told us to keep an eye out in the news. It hadn't been officially announced yet when I interviewed. But I couldn't find it anywhere in the headlines 😕

Did you interview before me? Because, if I remember correctly, it had just been announced whenever I interviewed.

They are introducing a new, 3-year MD program.

I interviewed the first week on 9/21. They told us to keep watch for headlines the week after.
and WOW, why is this not on their website anywhere or all over SDN?

Can't remember when we would receive more information (my mind was racing at the time) but I, too, was under the impression that the program would be available for the class of 2017.

I am also unsure if the program is for me. The person that I spoke to on the phone said that the program is geared towards people who know which specialty they want to pursue (which is definitely not me).

They told us until March, so I guess try not to worry/freak out too much, there are better things, like deciding which seat should I take

Yes, there is still a chance. Nobody understands the admission process. They do things in their own crazy order so there could still be a chance.

why don't you call the admissions office? I can't tell you anything with certainty and neither can anyone on SDN unless they work for the AdCom at NYUSOM.. good luck and congrats to my future classmates!

No!!! Haha I interviewed in September, and this is definitely a top choice, so I refuse to give up and I don't think you should either.
