I think that the Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program is different from the UCLA PRIME/ CDU program. If you submitted secondaries to both Drew/UCLA and UCLA PRIME I think that they will be reviewed by different admission committees. :luck:

They've started. Jan 3-11 is supposedly the window.

Not sure if all have gone out yet, though

My goodness this thread has died, acceptances come out next week! Is everyone excited or what? How about we share our thoughts on the interview process?
 
Did they definitely say responses to be given out next week? I heard 3 weeks from the last interview date (Feb. 23rd)??
 
I emailed them earlier this week, this was their response,

"Hello,

By the end of next week we will call students with acceptances.

Best,

UCLA PRIME"
 
I was at the Feb 23rd 9am session! Has anyone heard anything!?
 
Nothing yet, this wait is agonizing. I've been staring at my phone all day..lol..If anybody hears anything please let us know!
 
Maybe someone can call or email the program to see if they have started making calls? I would do it but have bugged the hell out of them enough already..��..please post on here with their reply!

Why do you think it's today? It's probably going to be Thursday or Friday.
 
I'm horribly neurotic and last year they went out Monday and Tuesday 3 weeks after the last interview.
 
my friend received a call confirming her acceptance. So looks like calls are already being made.
 
So PRIME remains silent to the majority of us? Anybody heard anything yet?
 
Lets forget about acceptances for the moment, has anyone received waitlist or rejection emails? I would really like to know what's going on with this program.
 
I have not heard a word from Prime. I did not even know they waitlisted students. AHH the wait and uncertainty of what is happening is killing me.
 
I emailed them and they responded saying that they had begun making calls last week, and hope to be done calling by the end of this week.

You can always call or email them to inquire. It won't hurt you; I think they understand that we want to know.

I feel you! Yes PRIME waitlists and a couple of those applicants come off the waitlist every year.
 
Although I am an optimist, I feel that it is safe to say that most if not all of those who have been accepted have received a call by now.
 
I am about to send them an email, but I haven't heard anything.
 
I had called last week, asking about progress, and they said they were finishing up the last 2 acceptance calls by last Thursday, and then would be making the wait list and notifying us, but that's the last I'd heard. No emails about wait list for me yet.
 
Just got wait-listed via email </3

It stated that the class is currently filled and every student who has been offered admission has confirmed their seat, and that in the event of future availability decisions will be based on scores provided by the admissions committee.

Same here..so does that mean that each and everybody who was accepted is attending the program, no if ands or buts? Also, I wonder how many people they place on the wait list each year.

In the same boat as you three. Just got waitlisted.
... I am happy. I just knew I was going to be rejected :meanie:

While the wording makes it sound like that, my guess is that it's just like any other program; people confirm their acceptance after the offer, but have until May 15 to hold onto as many spots as they wish. So the acceptance offer may include asking them to "confirm their acceptance" or outright turn it down if they know they don't want to attend. That's all speculation, and I could be completely wrong...

Does anyone want to take a shot at guessing how many of us were wait listed?..lol..I hope not everyone

That makes me feel better! I sent an email inquiring about this, will keep everyone updated.
 
Wait listed as well . Everyone I know got wait listed so I think everyone got wait listed. Only the top 5 ranked applicants have any real shot of being called up later.
 
Waitlisted and withdrew.

I know for a fact everyone who received an interview gets waitlisted since I asked the director of the program during the interview and he confirmed this.
