How many interviews were held three?? and there were about eleven people per interview?? And about 18 -24 were accepted (taking into account over accepting)?? So maybe that is 15-9 people on the wait list??
😕

This is total rookie spit-balling but this is what i came up with because I only got three options of what days to interview.

Well 3 interview days, 2 sessions per day = about 68 ppl interviewed. (This takes into account ppl not showing up) So if we say 24 accepted then we get 44 wait listed- whomever decides to withdraw. In my mind the chances of coming off the wait list are slim unless you are in the top 5 in terms of their ranking system.

Good analysis I definitely did not take into consideration the two sessions per day

Here's how the breakdown works:

78 are interviewed (this includes people who pulled out last minute, and whose spots were given to wait listed applicants.

13 applicants each session X 2 sessions per day
3 days

ONLY 18 are accepted. Once one of these 18 gives up their spot, then a wait listed applicant is accepted from the list.

The rest is out of our hands, and only the adcom truly knows how many are wait listed post interview.initial acceptance.

Hope that clarifies a bit

^ sounds about right, although there were only 11 ppl in my interview group which leads me to believe less ppl were interviewed than expected. So I guess the wait is on May 15 can't come soon enough.

Interesting! Everyone had shown up for the first date. I hope a bunch of people didn't show up ;-)

I called prime and asked if all the alternatives had been contacted already and they have . Congrats to those who got in .

Hey anyone have any updates?? anyone get off of the waitlist??

Nothing on my end. According to medhappy all of the alternates have been called although that turn around seems a little quick to me.

They only had like 2 or 3 people leave from the first group and the waitlist was contacted right away and those new applicants accepted those spots therefore the class is filled.

Probably not great to get hopes up too high, but still possible for some movement to happen. I'm sure the wait lists for other schools around the country and CA are slowly moving as well, and it's not unlikely for more to happen throughout the weeks. That said, chicken counting is probably not advised...
