How long is a few weeks?
I know that it's hard to think of things to tell the admissions office because you want to wait until you have feel like you have something really 'significant', but in truth, going to a few conferences is just to use in an update. Essentially you just want to let the admissions folks know that you're really interested in the school and that if you're given the opportunity to interview that you'll show them you're a great fit for the program.
Hi Remxed. I dont know the circumstances of your application so I'm not sure what stage you're at (i.e. preliminary review/small pool/post-interview/waitlist). If you can give some more info I'm happy to offer my opinion.
Congrats on your acceptances Sunnyfricassee, Arbor Vitae, & The Beyonder!
👍
To those who are OOS and are still waiting, just know that the rapid turnaround time these folks enjoyed is not typical of application/acceptance experience of most people...so don't get too stressed if you're on the waitlist or still waiting for an II to reach your inbox.
