Do you think they're going down the list alphabetically? What is the first letter of your last name? I've been waiting for a rejection or something for a week! My last initial is S btw.

My roommate, 4.0/37 got rejected last week and his last initial is H, so that goes to show you that it is probably alphabetical and also at this level it's more about intangible factors so getting rejected isn't anything to feel bad about. It seems pretty random from the outside. I'll be expecting my rejection sometime tomorrow, not too many letters between M and S haha. Good luck everyone!
First rejection 🙁 One of my top choices, too. Oh well, I guess I'm just glad to be relieved of silence...better now than latter I suppose.

I'm at the end of the alphabet and got the email early this morning, so my inkling is that it's not alphabetical...
It's K .... And a friend of mine that's a G got rejected last week lol. So the theory has some support

Last initial was in the K-M range but I know someone else who got rejected last week in the R,S,T last initial range.
That's a bummer...looks like it's kinda random then. Guess I'll just take no news as good news for now.

I looked into the thread from last year-- it really looks like it is a random type of process and a group of people won't be rejected in this batch of rejections and will be re-reviewed in January and will either receive one of the few IIs left at that point or a rejection. I'm also in limbo right now..

II here yesterday, and I've been complete for close to 5 months. My first in the city, and I'm hoping to stay so I'm suped. Seems a lot of decisions were made yesterday- both good and bad- but best of luck to everyone in either case!

I finally get an II at another school in NY...after getting a pre-interview rejection here two days ago and can't send an ITA email here anymore 🙁 oh well, maybe next time haha

Try logging in from your smartphone with wifi turned off. I've never been able to check my Cornell status at work via my work's wifi.

I'd obviously be ecstatic for a II, but given that Cornell is actively rejecting applicants, it'd really be something to wait all this time w/ false hope and still get the axe

Complete since early September and haven't heard anything. I doubt I have much of a chance, but would like to make another trip to NYC 🙂 Anyone know how late Cornell interviews?
