Maybe they had problems with the primaries that were submitted in the first go around. At this point, I've emailed them and called them, so there's really nothing I can do. If I don't get it by the end of the week, I'm calling them again.
 
Just got a II. Added Drexel Late August, Submitted Secondary and Complete Sep 15

….talk about a quick turn around time…...

I was verified 7/30 and got the secondary 9/12
 
FYI called the admission office today and they don't have an exact date of when all the secondaries would be sent out. "Supposedly" we shouldn't be at a disadvantaged since the problem is on their end.
 
Haha, so it looks like the logic is that... there is no logic.

Just give it time!
 
Well all I did was click on a date because it was bolded and didn't realize that it would full on confirm the date? oops? This is weird.

Anyone been successful getting a student host!? I am broke, a hotel is going to be tough to pay for haha...

Same here at 10/9. Luckily that's the one I wanted but it's weird how if we want to reschedule we have to call in……… such an odd system.

+1. Also, I wanted to maybe spend time with students to get more of a feel for what they think of the school…
 
Added this school September 4th and just got the secondary! They're still sending them out for people who haven't gotten them yet! 🙂

+1 but I will have to cut it close flying in 10 pm the night before from a different interview so I think I may be at the closest hotel, but I'm a little freaked out. What if my flight gets cancelled? Luckily it will be direct so I won't have to worry about missing connections.

Don't worry about things you can't control….
Also, do you think it's worth bothering them to ask about student hosts? There wasn't an option for student hosts when picking the interview dates…
 
Can someone post a picture of what the II looks like on the Drexel screen?
 
Just a heads up for those of you wishing to apply for the MD/MPH program... You are asked:

"If applying to the M.D./M.P.H. program, please submit with this Supplemental Application a personal statement describing how public health training will contribute to your career in medicine. For more information, please contact the School of Public Health at 267-359-6000 or review their website atpublichealth.drexel.edu"

You won't be considered for the dual degree program until after you are accepted to the MD program.
 
For question 2 where it asks if my education had been continuous, does that mean through undergrad or after graduation also? I'm asking because the next question talks about gap year.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

lol wth. I can't figure out the strategy for how they hand out secondaries. crazy
 
Did you guys get an "Application Complete" email after submitting secondary online? I rec'd the payment receipt, but no conf if the secondary actually submitted or if it is now lost in cyberspace. I had no technical difficulties except a 60 second load (Using Google Chrome Browser).

I wonder if the checkboxes for classes/experiences for competencies are used as some sort of algorithm to create a "Service Score" or "Clinical Score"

Submitted yesterday and didn't get an Application complete email yet...according to other posts I think it takes a few days to get the email! I also only received the payment receipt.
 
Should I be worried that I'm not marked complete yet? It's been almost a week (which is long given other posts), they have my letters already, and I paid the fee online so there shouldn't be any wait for that... it makes me nervous seeing people submit and complete the same day.

Anyone else submit last week and not complete yet?

I submitted the secondary on Sept 3. Called them up on Sept 15 when my app was still not marked complete. The woman at the admissions office was super nice and said that they have had some computer glitches. So I was asked to re-submit the secondary. I received the completion email the next day. I think a few others have had a similar experience too. You might want to call them up and ask.

Thank you! I'll try calling them tomorrow. I really hope I don't have to re-do the secondary, it was horrible!

I got an email this morning that those who submitted from Sept 2-4th should resubmit because the server glitched out. I was one of those unlucky people. I really hope this doesnt effect my decision...but due the nature of the admissions game, it most likely will. Womp Womp.

I'm so sorry you were mixed in with that mess! 🙁

I only submitted last week so I'm not in that date range, but given that it appears most people have been marked complete in 1-3 days, I'm now worried there was another glitch... I will definitely post after I call tomorrow!
 
Primary submitted mid-August, still do not have a secondary...

Weird. I submitted on the 2nd and had no problems. No lost info, no waiting to submit, etc. Guess I just got lucky.
 
Just got the secondary today (AMCAS cleared early August). FYI, when I was adding activities that I didn't have on AMCAS, my activities' "types" kept changing back to the default type. I had to change it and save it several times for the secondary to get it right. So I'm going to feed everybody's neuroses and tell you guys to triple check that section!
 
Is it a time consuming app? I expected that with no essays it would be quick
 
how crucial do you guys think it is to interview as early as possible? Would lagging a couple of weeks be that detrimental?
 
For people with recent II's, what are the earliest interview dates looking like?
