I was marked complete on that same exact day, I just checked the email and your right about the "hear back in 3 months" thing. So we should hear back in less than 25 days... I hope so.. still waiting on 10 out of 15 schools, and I was complete in mid September for most..

Thanks! So hopefully mine arrives soon. I believe my status changed either last Thursday or Friday.

EDIT: Nothing today.

Mine took over two weeks to come after my status changed and I live like 30 minutes from the school. Just be patient and do other things
 
My status on the portal changed to deposit has been received but I still have not gotten the lett in the mail for confirmation
 
On hold pre-int. Totally wouldn't have known unless I checked the portal. Can anyone shed light on whether or not this is just a rejection?
 
Interviewed on Oct. 16 and still no decision reached. This process is the worst....
 
Interviewed Nov. 13. Application reached committee by Dec. 4. Decision reached Dec. 11.

My birthday is on a Thursday this year — I just hope I don't receive a rejection letter that day...

What does it say exactly? And when were you complete if you don't mind me asking?
 
I know this has probably been mentioned somewhere in these 38 pages, but if someone would not mind saying again (if anyone knows) when admissions committee meets? Thanksss

Complete August 26th.

"Thank you for your application. Your file has been reviewed by a member of our Admissions Committee. While we have decided not to invite you for an interview at this time, we would like to re-evaluate your application again in the spring should interview spots remain. We have many completed applications to review and wish to hold on a final decision on your application until later in the cycle. Again, thank you for your interest in Drexel College of Medicine. "

Waitlisted today. Interviewed 10/22. Received committee made decision this past Wednesday.
not really surprised by this outcome. Interview went good however, my interviewer brought up my weak MCAT being of concern to her. She even asked if I planned on taking it over and I just had a blank stare and told her I would HOPE I wouldn't have to take it again (hence why I'm sitting in the seat right in front of you interviewing) llol. So I culd tell that was a red flag for her.

Interestingly, drexel gives you the option to accept or decline the waitlist position (idk if that's for every school), anyways I'll be declining since I got into my 2nd choice. Good luck to everyone else!

So I have been on decision made for 10 days and will be heading home from college later this week. I guess I have to call Drexel and tell them to switch my mailing address...

Congratsss! How long after your portal changed to "You are currently under review by a member of the admissions committee and will be sent to committee shortly," did you wait for it to change to "decision made"? I know everyone is different, but just trying to get an estimate. Thanks!
 
I mostly lurk and haven't been on SDN in weeks, but I wanted to log in and post to share good news in hopes that it might help some of you guys while you wait (cause damn this process is a rollercoaster of emotions)

Accepted - letter I got the day after Thanksgiving. Interviewed End of October date I cant remember right now


I was waitlisted at all schools I interviewed at last cycle and one of my interviews this cycle felt like a personal trainwreck (at least I thought so but I haven't heard back) so I couldn't believe it when I got the letter. I wouldn't trade these last 3 years since graduation for anything though and I wish everyone applying to this school and all others good luck because waiting can be so hard.
 
Thanks! It definitely feels great as a reapplicant to receive an acceptance!

I'm not sure about the time between the statuses. It was about a week from seeing the decision made status to receiving the letter

Definitely not too late.. I had secondaries in for all the schools throughout August and was marked complete with most places throughout September.. I still have only heard back from 5 out of the 15 schools that I applied to... It has only been 2 months for you and you were pretty late which means your towards the back of the line.. There are people who were complete in August and still end up waiting 3+ months to hear back from a lot of places..
 
if you've been received an II and want to update drexel with significant stuff (like a publication), should you send them that update before the interview, after the interview but before they reach a decision, or only after you are waitlisted? thanks!

it has been almost 3 months for me. i called and they said you just have to be patient and it isn't indicative of anything except that your application just hasn't been discussed yet. also since they specifically said it could take 6-8 weeks on the interview day, i definitely don't think you should call unless its been at least 8 weeks
 
Complete 9/15, just checked the portal and my status has finally changed from "is and complete" to the hold status.
 
Wait list notification in the mail...not what I was hoping for, but not a rejection.
