yeah, same! i interviewed 2/7. I really hope they make the decisions today like they said they would! I just don't want to assume I am not accepted if I don't get a phone call if they don't even end up reviewing my file.
 
Does anyone know if there is a facebook group or a forum of people going to Loyola next year? I want to start looking for a roommate and a place to live!
 
The snow has stopped mail delivery where I live. I haven't gotten mail in over 7 days. I was supposed to get the decision letter in the mail last week and I have no clue when they will resume delivering the mail.

Does that happen sometimes? I was there early Feb, and they seemed pretty decisive about the fact that decisions would be made TODAY.
That may just be my wishful thinking though.

Last time I saw two people reference 8:30 EST and 5:30 PST. I'm assuming it'll be a similar time.

Update: Nothing happened at 8:30pm EST. This is kind of stressful.

Search in Facebook "Loyola stritch school of medicine 2019" and ask to join. I can't post the link from my phone.

I got a call at 7:29 CST tonight, officially going to Loyola!! (I hope I didn't sound like an idiot on the phone because I really don't remember what I said!)

So for all those that just got accepted...who would like to tell me a little more about how your interview went/questions you were asked:happy: ?

I wasn't asked very standard questions except for "why loyola." In both instances the interviews were very conversational and very attuned to my personal application. Almost all the questions organically arose from the secondary responses I filled out. So it's hard to give advice on questions asked- really, just remember what you wrote and know yourself. 🙂

Ahhh I hope you hear good news soon!!!

Just wanted to drop a big CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who was accepted today. The wait was well worth it, and I hope to meet you guys at second look!
Also, I wish everyone else who is waiting on Stritch the best of luck.

There are clearly a lot of questions recorded on here, and it's not practical to prepare for them all, but you really get a sense of what Stritch interviewers are interested in learning about you.
 
Anyone's interview date that is after 2/7 heard back yesterday?
Just trying to grasp whether I'm rejected or not :/

I Was told during my interview that the Facebook group is a private group by invitation only, which is sent to acceptees.
 
So finally got that letter..waitlisted. They will start making offers by telephone to alternates after May 15. Hope they will accept me of the wait list :/. Does anybody know how full the class is now?

Not the one for acceptances. Not everybody uses the same email for facebook as for applications. The facebook page is in this thread, a number of pages back. Probably around October/November.

I was only reffering to the FB group for acceptees. They said that the link would be sent by email if you are accepted (the email listed on your application). I don't know about the other FB group.

I meant the acceptees facebook. It's around this thread somewhere, but too far back lol.
