Yes I think last year the deadline was May 15th and we heard back like May8th

Does this mean we would hear back by end of next week? I'm excited and nervous!

Could be...but no idea, since they still seem to have lots of people waiting post-interview hold and the fact that the timeline was pushed up two weeks this year. I wouldn't doubt if it's right up against the 30th.

Still have no idea what rhyme or reason they go by in discussing the applications. Maybe one day I'll join an ADCOM just to find out.

Apparently it's pretty random and depends primarily on when your individual interviewer is available to meet with the ADCOM. So don't look to much into it.

Yeah I talked to admissions today, so I think the admissions committee is meeting again next week then everyone will here the week after. So hold pool I don't think we will hear anything till the 30th...maybe a day or so sooner if we are lucky.

Dang I didn't ask any specifics, I think they still haven't finished but the feeling was they would meet next week one last time then the week after everything would be finalized which is basically what we knew according to the portal

They definitely sent out another round of acceptances today. A friend of mine who interviewed in the beginning of March just got an acceptance today.

Understandable. I wonder if the timeline will be similar to last year. From the thread last year, some people received an acceptance about 10 days before the May 15th deadline. Most others knew their status about 2 days before. I'm curious if the adcom meeting next week will change this?

Yeah I wouldn't doubt if we heard the day before or something, just sounded like it definitely wouldn't be next week. The last few weeks are definitely harder than the first few months of being on hold were that's for sure.
