Does anyone know if the villas at chestnut ridge are open for the medical school students to rent? They look beautiful.
I'm pretty sure they are open for anyone to rent, though the location is much closer to the undergrad campus than it is to the medical campus.

This wait is killing me.. Buffalo was one of my first complete applications and still nothing.. I wonder how they choose what apps to review since it's not by submission date.. Is it truly "random" as in, the computer just randomly picks one? What is the advantage of doing it this way? I figured maybe they gave first looks at IS applications, but I'm IS and it's been a while with zero news... Is it possible they do it by MCAT scores or GPA or something?
Your application was probably reviewed and placed onto the "will review later" pile just like a lot of us. All we can do is wait patiently.

So do they not send hold notifications? I would think that they would notify us after we are reviewed.
Current M1. You guys understand that UB has random review right? They have no order of reviewing your submitted applications, it doesn't matter when your application was submitted as long as it was in by the deadline. For those who have to know statistics the avg Lizzy M for our class was a little over 71. However, I have friends with scores all over the place (MCATs of 28-40 and gpas from 3.4-4.0) so remember that 71 is an average of 144 students. I would like to know this as well. I'm always worried if I contact adcom with questions it'll make them remember me as the guy who bugs them with dumb application questions.

Still waiting since early September for me.. I guess no news is better than bad news! I'm sorry to hear about all the rejections, good luck. Even if this process may feel hopeless at times, if you stick with it long enough you'll manage eventually!
Been complete since about july. No word...
I know that interviews usually occur every Wednesday, but as far as sending out invites, I am not sure if they send them out regularly, per se.
Don't send letters of update until late April/early May/mid May. I was in your shoes last year and know that waiting is stressful, but hold your letters until later!

I emailed Mr. Rosso about updating after the waitlist. I was told that you are already ranked and it does not effect their decision making.
Does anyone know if/when they will tell those waitlisted about rankings?
