I'm taking the Schrödinger approach - opening my email will only disrupt the rejected/invited superposition.Crap. Guess mine's coming too...

I've consistently been in the "everyone else got rejected but mine hasn't come yet even though I know I'm rejected" boat. it's fun I guess...
Are we the same person, or nah?I've consistently been in the "everyone else got rejected but mine hasn't come yet even though I know I'm rejected" boat. it's fun I guess...

These schools loveeee to play with my emotions lol. Reject me so I can go take a nap and sleep it off.
+1I'd also much prefer a swift rejection than this 1 in a million false hope hahaha

When did you all interview?
I heard back last week but didn't post--I was put on the waitlist.I'm also at 4 weeks post interview. I was told that it's usually 3-5 weeks, but that if you interview after the winter holidays it could take longer because they get backed up. I've also noticed that no one had posted any decisions in a few weeks, which is weird since the committee meets every Friday.
Do you mind me asking when you interviewed?I heard back last week but didn't post--I was put on the waitlist.
+1lol just got a very cruel email about Temple Podiatry with "Temple Medicine" in the subject. way to crush my dreams

Not at all, sorry for the delayed reply. It was the week of thanksgiving. I'm OOS, so it wasn't a huge surprise.Do you mind me asking when you interviewed?
Yep, me.anyone here complete around mid november or later and alreaady received a pre interview rejection??
lol...when exactly were you complete?Yep, me.
Couple of questions:
1. I was placed on the "continuing candidates" list post-interview in December. They said they probably wouldn't make a decision regarding my application until March-April. Is that just a fancy name for "wait list" or is there a wait list as well?
2. Has anyone here been accepted/rejected off of the continuing candidates list yet?
For anyone who has been accepted already, Temple suggests we fill out our FAFSA before March 1st for priority consideration of university funding. Does anyone have any idea what that might mean? Because I might not be able to file it before then.
Also general question. My parents are both working and well off, so I don't think I will receive any need-based aid from Temple if I include their info. Hence, I want to just leave it off. This will still leave me eligible for merit-based scholarships correct?
IIRC, they sent that to everyone the year I was accepted, too.lol just got a very cruel email about Temple Podiatry with "Temple Medicine" in the subject. way to crush my dreams
I was accepted back in November but I still don't have my campus assignment. Has anyone gotten their assignment/additional information about financial aid and other stuff besides second look?
Congrats and yes. If you're already at Temple, take the Broad-street line to Reading Terminal - my favorite places are DiNic's and Beck's Cajun. Order anything on the menu, can't go wrong.Got an interview yesterdayyy! Is it just a traditional interview? And does anyone have suggestions of places to go while I'm in Philly
I withdrew from other schools by sending an email to their admissions office. I said something along the lines of "My name is ______ and my AMCAS ID is ________. I would like to formally withdraw my acceptance for the Class of 2019. Thank you for your consideration."I can't figure out where/how to withdraw - nothing on the portal. Do you all just email them? I'll do it tonight if someone can confirm this.
The faculty interviewer had access to everything, amcas, secondary, GPA, and MCAT. If I remember correctly, my student interviewer didn't know anything about me but my name. It's very conversational. Definitely not a stress interview. Also, is the interview completely open file? (ie EC, secondary + personal statement, and grades/mcat score)
when were you complete?Interview invite today, scheduled for 3/25! EXCITED!!!
