Wednesday will be the 8 week mark for me... at this point I don't even care about how long it takes anymore. JUST BE GOOD NEWS, PLEASE!!
 
II today! First one I've gotten. Dates were all throughout jan and feb. Complete in late october (10/21:whistle: I'm dumb). LizzyM =78-79, weak EC's, but only about 2 hours away and I love the scranton area!

So stoked about this interview! Any input from those who have interviewed on what to expect?

I am sure this has already been discussed but I am new to this thread. What is the normal waiting period post interview to hear?

Did you send your letter of intent via email or regular mail?

THREE MONTHS???? Good things happened to those who wait. Hope it will not be three months for me. I have to make decisions before that!
 
To all those waiting to hear back post-interview ... patient my friends. My interview isn't until February 23rd so I will be in the same boat soon and hope to be as patient as you. To those who were rejected I'm sorry, best of luck with all your other opportunities. And to those who have not heard anything from TCMC yet, stay hopeful! In no way did I expect an interview from TCMC and I am ecstatic to have gotten one. You just don't know what happens in the MD application cycle. Good luck everyone!!

I was complete end of July, I got my II in mid-November, and I scheduled for end of February because that was the soonest date. Have you heard back yet?
 
Just got deferred. Heartbroken. this was by far my best interview, and both interviewers told me they couldn't imagine a better candidate for the school. now I know my past stats are definitely holding me back. don't know how much more of this I can take lol

Sorry to hear that. 🙁 On the positive side it seems tons of people get off the deferred list. Hope is still there!

Sorry to hear that. Just focus on the fact that it wasn't a rejection. I agree with Blue Blood, there is still hope. I still haven't heard anything but its not over until its over. Keep your head up!
 
I wonder if more pre-interview notifications will be sent out today, or if they did them all yesterday. Please share if you hear anything more.
 
for people that arei n scranton right now... is it really cold?? do i need to bring snow boots or anything?? i have interview next week

"Snow boots" I loled at that one. It's cold. We're not currently having a blizzard though 😉

But it is cold here now, but I guess that is relative. As we get closer I would check the weather here. It's always changing and you never know when a few inches of snow will creep up on you!

yeah i definitely am check the weather. but i've never really been in snow before so im wondering if i can wear normal shoes around town? are the streets/sidewalks plowed or something?

If it hits in the 40's bring your shorts! lol WE are used to the cold here. If accepted, give it about two years and you will acclimate also!
 
Deferred on the 7th. Loved the school. Anyone know when the next time they will review deferred applications is/ if students who originally get deferred ever get accepted? Now the waiting game..

Was anyone accepted last week? Or was it just deferrals. I'm an October, local still patiently waiting...

I'm with you, but I'm looking forward to celebrating an acceptance from here this week. Hoping and praying 😉. I think they're back on their Wednesday schedule - deferrals first, then acceptances the following week.

Let's hope. It's still a pain. Like if you know who you're deferring, then they also know who you are accepting. Mb it's the personal note with each that takes the extra week? Oh well lol

Yea I think its the personal touch in each acceptance letter that makes it longer.
