I'll do you one better; tmdsas transmitted all of mine 6/20, and I haven't heard so much as a confirmation email, but I'm staying optimistic. Plus, my MCAT scores weren't sent until 7/16 or so.... Hope I hear something soon!

Same here. I received the confirmation 6/20 but have yet to receive II. Already received UTSA, Lubbock, and El Paso.

Is it even worth applying here with a 4.0/28 MCAT OOS?

It doesn't hurt to apply. You never know what can happen. Plus, there is no secondary for this school so you aren't spending extra money to apply here, given that you are already planning to apply to other TMDSAS schools.

I've been since early June as well. I have a feeling they haven't sent out very many II's yet. This is the school I want to attend and I should get an interview here. Already got one at UT Southwestern.

UT Houston's first round of interviews start this Friday (my friend is going), so they have been sending out IIs. I'm not sure if they're being more selective this year or what, but the wait sure is killing me!

MS2 here. So far we're only interviewing students in the JAMP program (this Friday as well). The first interview date for traditional applicants isn't until August 29th, and then every friday and occasional wednesdays afterwards. We have lots of interview dates upcoming, so don't worry if you haven't heard anything yet. Good luck!

Just got my II! 3.7/3.5/29. Was seriously not expecting to hear from this school this early, if at all. I kept re-reading the email to make sure it was real. I was given Sept 12th, 17th, and 19th interview dates to choose from. Don't worry y'all, there's still hope for everyone!

No, just regular. I don't want to go into too much detail for the sake of anonymity, but I have pretty strong ECs which is probably the strongest part of my application and somewhat makes up for my lower stats. I got my "under review" email on 7/1

Congratulationssss! If you don't mind me asking, how did you study for your MCAT the second time? I am applying this cycle but I will be retaking my MCAT soon. I feel like my MCAT score isn't competitive enough, and I'd rather retake the MCAT now so I can take the current one and not the new one.
