Withdrew my application/II. Tough decision to make, since they were going to pay for my stay. Hope someone here gets an II though. God bless!

Who knows at this point. We were told they did. But as to when we'll get a decision, we've gotten answers varying from "this week" to "up to 8 weeks after the interview date".
 
hey,

potentially silly question - does Cincinnati not have these delineated hours/requirements that all other schools do? Their requirements online seem so general...i'm just about to withdraw another acceptance so i want to make sure i'm not somehow missing a requirement ill have to complete for cinci! (postgraduate paranoia).

They have no course requirements 🙂
 
Alternate list... bummer. =/ Well at least the status says "because acceptances are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year, we will continue to review your credentials for further consideration." I might still have a chance.

Sorry to hear that 🙁 I'm 9/30 and they haven't updated my status.
 
Pleaseeee Cincinnati, it would be really nice to hear good news after the God awful interview I had today (stress interview, I think).

I'm sure you did a lot better than you think you did...
They probably just don't want to give you the satisfaction.

But yeah. Still no response on my end. I got waitlisted at another school and thus don't have any acceptances yet...
I'd love to go into my next interview with some solid news to back me up and give me the ol' "Just be cool, it's okay if you complete bomb this" sorta attitude...
Well, with all the med school admissions randumbness taken into consideration, we might hear back tomorrow.
Or next week.
Or not.

I'm so sorry!! That sucks! I'm in a similar situation...all the interviews I've had so far I've gotten waitlisted 🙁

Sounds like you have more interviews though, so keep your chin up and continue being awesome. Hope you get good news from a school you're psyched about soon!

Thank you! Oh my gosh I can't believe it, I'm going to be a doctor! Yay I can't wait to hang up my acceptance on the fridge in my suite! 😀
Haha this is such perfect timing. I was opening at work for the first time ever, alone (I work in an ice cream shop). I was stressing out about the stupid yogurt machines not working when I randomly decided to check my portal. I just stopped everything and made myself a celebratory ice cream hahaha

Congratulations! I interviewed early on and was also accepted a couple of weeks ago. Very, very excited! If anyone comes across a Facebook page for the class of 2020, I'd love to join!
 
uh-oh, these post interview rejections make me nervous. At least if you get waitlisted you know they're somewhat serious about you...

Best of luck at other schools guys!! This sting of this rejection will be overshadowed by aceptances elsewhere
 
I interviewed here 10/7, sincerely hope I get in. I really liked the campus and Cinci is general. I think my MMIs went well, but eh, you never do know.
 
Hey I am a student at UC who applied for this cycle (Lizzy M 67) and I wanted to ask if anyone knew if they interview students at UC later than from other schools? Or if interviews are strictly based on stats? I am really hoping for an interview soon I love this school so much!

Based on the post above yours with an II going to someone with a lower LizzyM, I feel they must take a more holistic look at the application. No news is not necessarily bad news!
