Like, it wasn't shorter/longer than that at all?
Slightly more than an hour maybe? I don't remember.Just out of curiosity, how long did your interviews actually last?

Mine was maybe actually a little less than a hour. I would say 50ish mins

My interview wasn't too serious, but not too laid back either. It's definitely not worth stressing yourself out over too much though. I didn't have any tricky questions, but I know some people on my interview day got asked some, like, "can you fire a patient?" Just remember it's okay to say you don't know, and that they're really just trying to get to know you. Good luck!!II today! Don't give up! Boomer sooner!!
To those who already interviewed, what kind of questions did they ask? Any tricky ones? Interviews serious or laid back? Nervous and excited!

I haven'tHas anyone else still not received an email?
When did you receive the email if you don't mind me asking? Last year a ton of people got in from the deferral list that I knew so don't worry.I was deferred as well. I wonder what the stats are on deferral and acceptance in February. Another waiting game..

Accept just now like literally 2 min ago email.
Don't get down everyone else. I'm 36 and changed careers so there is always time. Good luck
Ps - only 2 weeks to accept so in many cases other slots should open. I've got to decide quickly and that will free up one at either OU or OSU so there's one more for a deserving applicant in Oklahoma
Did anyone else get accepted to the SCM? If so, are you leaning a certain direction?
I got accepted to both, I don't know which one to pick. Okc has way more opportunities but Tulsa is home.
I feel like the Tulsa track is much more individualized and interested in patient care, but I do feel like okc has a larger pool of contacts.
Obviously a current student probably has better insight than me, but this was also my thinking and reasoning for deciding to not pursue the Tulsa track. Again, just conjecture, but OKC has pretty much every specialty available to do rotations in - if I want to do a rotation or sub-I in something more esoteric like pediatric nephrology (or even something less so, e.g. neurosurg), I could feasibly do that in OKC...probably less feasible in Tulsa. Maybe that's not the case with rotations and Tulsa track can come to OKC and do them, but still, it would be harder for instance to do shadowing on weekends. Plus more interest groups/extracurriculars presumably available in OKC. I was just afraid that going to Tulsa would prematurely close doors that I don't have enough information/experience to know if I want to pursue certain areas or not.I feel like the Tulsa track is much more individualized and interested in patient care, but I do feel like okc has a larger pool of contacts.
This is true. For what it's worth (read:anecdotally speaking), all three of the re-applicants I know applying this cycle have gotten in.\If all else fails, reapplicants are cherished. Best of luck. Boomer sooners
