Thanks to everyone that's been helpful on this site. Hopefully we will all get in and get to meet some of you.

Don't have date yet no to me to go look actually taking a Cell and Molecular test on like 10 minutes. Yeah metabolism !

Well I did a mock interview last week and I actually interviewed at another school earlier this week so I feel pretty prepared. I'll probably read up on the website tonight to find a few good questions to ask, but other than that I'm feeling fine about it!
 
I interviewed last Thursday 3 Dec. I know there is one more December interview tommorrow 6 Dec. They told us results for all of fall interviews should be late December.....from a few people that meant around 23 Dec last year. Then its either reject, accept, or waitlist. Then few more interviews Jan before final decisions on those plus wait list.

One correction, waitlisters aren't announced yet. It's accept, reject or defer at this point.
 
It's not until February that waitlisters are announced. If you get deferred, you usually hear back "accept, reject, or waitlist" then.
 
Did anyone else hear the date December 17/18 as the first day they'll release decisions?

I was thinking earlier, too. According to last year's thread, people first heard back on the 15th/16th it seems.
 
Person giving out tour during interviews said she heard on 23 December last year

I think this is what it said in the powerpoint Dr. Baker presented to on interview day, but not sure.

Yeah I would probably look for somewhere in that range. I heard from them on the 19th in 2012 and the 17th in 2013, and know it was pretty much the same time last year too.
 
II today!!!!!! This school is my top choice and so happy to have an opportunity to interview. I will be interviewing 1/10. Does anyone have any feedback on the interview day?

Congrats. ! For interviews just be yourself. Know yourself. Have a few examples of times in your life that were good examples of your character in your head ready for quick use. That's what I did and I feel I did good but who knows until results hopefully next week

My day had 3 groups, each rotating through one of 3 activities:

Interview
Student resources/mods
Clinical skills building tour

And each took about 1:15. All before lunch. I had the last one and was super hungry going into my interview haha.

Yep exact same and last group 11:30. Lots of walking so sweaty before. Make sure get 10-15 to wind die before interview of last group.
 
So about how many people are accepted in December? I hear it isn't a lot, most get deferred until February?

No, quite the opposite from what I heard from a couple M1s and 2s when I was there. They said the acceptance rate for the first round of interviews was really high, and that the people who interviewed before December had a very good chance of being accepted.

So does that include the interviews for early december or just the october and november dates?

Unsure. Basically the people that receive their decisions in the first round (in December) are more likely to be accepted because they interviewed in the first round. i.e. They front load their acceptances in the first round of interviews.

Oh gosh. I guess I'll send them an email haha. I have some weird circumstances-- I have another interview on Friday that I would really love to cancel if I get into OU. So I hope they're responsive and the decisions come out soon!

Hmm yeah I interviewed in December and they said they would let us know if it's accept, reject or deferred by mid December. But I've heard from some people the acceptances only go to the October and November dates and everyone else gets deferred until February. I'm super nervous so I really hope that's untrue and they accept people from December as well
 
I'd guess they'll send out the emails this afternoon or next monday the 21st, but let us know what they say bookish!

You may be correct, but I got an invitation at a time when I could have had a slot in November but the spots filled up within two hours of getting an email. The only ones open were in December. I would be surprised if they were that strict on interview dates. Probably most people in December just don't have as high of stats.
 
Just out of curiosity, how long did your interviews actually last?
