I received a confirmation email too.
 
And to help @mdhopefulstx, just looking at the last few pages, it seems that the latest date someone transmitted AND got the complete email was 5/26. So you might just be in the next batch, and they haven't downloaded your app yet, therefore it is not in their system when you call.
 
I had to email a person to confirm that the interview date would work for me and they emailed me back saying, "We look forward to meeting you!" So, I would hope these invites are real
 
It's not a fluke, I responded and they responded back.

I received my first interview invite to UTMB for 8/14, and I was wondering if any current students lurking in this thread would mind hosting me the night of 8/13. I promise to be pleasant and low maintenance 😉 just trying to avoid paying for a hotel. Good luck to everyone in this thread!!

If that doesn't work out, check the e-mail. Isn't there a student host program in there?
 
Has anyone got an "under review" since June 12th

I asked them if something was wrong and they said that they go through them in no particular order and mine will "probably be under review soon". It seemed like there isn't much order to it. Still, I'm just confused to. It makes me nervous haha
 
So.... Some are getting interview already??
anyone mind sharing their stats?
 
I got mine sometime mid last week for an interview August 7th. IS 3.77/36

There is, but I haven't heard back from the program yet. Just trying all my options.
 
Who here has already confirmed their interview date with the school? On one of the attachments in the email, it says to confirm two weeks prior to your interview date, so I haven't sent a confirmation email yet.

I sent an email to confirm the interview date early this week.

Does anyone know what time the social the night before interview starts?
 
I just got my under review e-mail today. Transmitted 6/2 but committee letter wasn't uploaded until last week.

They said it is not uncommon to not receive under review emails, and they had my application, so I think it's safe to say that they might have yours too, which is strange. I don't see why they don't just send off emails to everyone, but I'm just relieved that there was no issue with my primary or anything as I originally thought :shrug:

I wonder if I should call them :/. I already kind of feel annoying for emailing tho haha. its been like.... awhile though idk
 
Got my under review email for first time yesterday. TMDSAS verified 6/22

Oops, my bad - should have specified. I submitte TMDSAS on 6/5 and it was transmitted on 6/22. You might still have a while if you got transmitted last week. Hopefully it'll be under review sometime later this week/next week!

Got my interview invite today as well! 75+ LizzyM and IS. I got the Galveston "under review" email on 7/7 for reference.

Hope y'all are getting your IIs too if you haven't gotten them already :clap:
 
Actually my stats are not high at all lol I am in state though and "under review" on the 7th also.
3.32/3.22s and 30 MCAT.
Oddly my rec letters/activities/essays were the strongest factors in my application, but I will take the II and run!

Oh and thank you very much!! 🙂

Got an interview for 8/28. Excited, the social the night before the interview seems cool.
 
I apologize if this is a stupid question, but can anybody tell me if attendance at the night before "social mixer" has any bearing on the admissions decision?
I've got an interview at A&M the day before this one and I'm wondering if I should reschedule.

I don't think it will hurt you. If it is not mandatory they can not hold it against you for not going.

Do you mind sharing when you submitted your secondary for A&M or when you got under review email for Galveston?
