Congratulations to everyone who just just accepted! Please I have a question about the pre-entry program offered by UT Houston and BCM. I just got accepted to participate in the program, can anyone who attended or knows someone who attended the program give me pros and cons of participating in this program? Thanks!

I called - they won't be finished deciding until the summer, though some people have already heard. I was also told "don't count on a scholarship for funding."

Has anyone called or emailed the Dean to discuss the waitlist? I read that if you want to go to a medical school that is what you are supposed to do, but I have no idea how to go about it without being an annoyance.

Yes friend was accepted 5/9/2016. He was OOS, however he got official TX residency only days before, so I'm not sure if McGovern made the change and that's how he got in. He interviewed 12/10/2015.

When is the last day that you can hear back if you are already accepted at another school?

After June 1 you can't be offered a spot by another Texas school if you already hold a spot. After June 1 those with no offers have a chance up until med school orientation begins (dates vary by school)
