I'm sorry. I just got rejected from one of my top ten today too. Pretty sad. It sucks. Starting to worry about my chances.🙁

How long did it take people's status to change from "You have been granted a supplemental application. You have 60 days from the date of this notice to complete your file. Be certain to read the "Supplemental Instructions" carefully before filling out your application..." I submitted last week but my portal still says the same thing. Any advice? .

I submitted two weeks ago and still waiting to be complete. Looking at last year's thread, it seems like a lot of people also had the same issue -- I may just wait to hit the three week mark for processing before contacting them personally

Never said I was worried/nervous. Simply looking for a timeline/answer to the question. Will need to request time off of work and am just trying to plan.

I have the same status and I'm wondering what it means! It has a typo too lol.
If you hear of anything let me know! I'm very curious. I think my status changed the same day as yours.

I think you should contact the office. That's an error for sure. It should have changed.

Yeah, happened to me. I went ahead and filled out the secondary, and I got an II. I don't think the secondary would be available if they didn't want to send you one.

I did the VCU CERT program, and just an FYI to you guys, what's most likely happening is that students who met certain criteria are getting their guaranteed interviews first (08/13, 08/20, and maybe even 08/27). I think early decision is also included in this bunch. VCU is also switching to the MMI this year, and in combination with getting ~10K apps, they are understandably busy. I'm interviewing there this Saturday and if I come across anything relevant about their office being backed up or something similar, I'll be sure and update.

We are not supposed to share the details of the MMI interview. I did two last year and there is no way to prepare. The whole idea is to test how you think on your feet.

Please note that your file may be put on hold for the following reasons:
Hold for MCAT: We are assuming you are scheduled to take the test. The Committee wishes to wait to evaluate your file until those scores are available. MCATS taken after September of the year of application will not be considered. If you are not planning to take or retake the MCAT, please notify us immediately.

Hold for Grades: The file review done by the Committee has determined that you are engaged in coursework which may affect their decision about whether to invite you for an interview. It is imperative that you submit grades for current or proposed courses in a timely fashion. Any file on hold for grades that are not submitted by January 31st will automatically be rejected. If you did not take the course indicated on your primary or supplemental application, please notify us immediately.

The first sentence says that you are complete. This is the status that you have until a decision is made (i.e II, Hold, or a rejection).
