Idk. I can't sleep though. Oct. 17th is in 13 minutes and the anticipation of it possibly being automatically sent out right at midnight is keeping me awake.

I will stay up with you! I wonder if it is automated like emails go out immediately on the 17th with the status changes or if they have to initiate it. Or if they send them manually. I am excited. I hope they dont prolong to the 28th.

I'm guessing they're automated because my II email was sent at 3 in the morning. Why would they wait until the 28th?

I wasnt quite sure if 15th was the date or not there wasnt a lot of movement on the forum last year on the 15th.

Nothing here yet. sigh another restless night.

I have been poking around in the portal as well trying to get it to give me its secrets. I bet it will be generic email that will be initiated by someone during business hours. Oh another week will kill me. It is my top choice right now.

There was one person who claimed they had an acceptance prior to that in the thread. But I agree. Someone should call to figure this out. I hate calling the office and pestering them, plus i have a 9-5.

My friend is an M1 here and based on the email screenshot he sent me last year, he received his acceptance on the 26th with a generic email, subject line: "Welcome to the WSU School of Medicine."

My portal hasn't changed. Still "Invite to Interview" status.. Patiently (not so patiently) waiting

Neither did I 🙁 I interviewed on August 8th. Stressing out over here.

I just called and was told that after today's batch there will be more decisions released once a month until February. I couldn't confirm which interviews were included in the batch that was released today and I don't know what it means for those of us without emails!

I know last year they sent out decisions around the 23rd of each month, I believe. Not sure about this year, though.

During my interview, one of the tour guides really stressed that the waitlist is not the end. He was put on the waitlist and was accepted a few months later as were many of his classmates. He told us it's not the end of the road by any means.
