Hows the group interview here? Do they have everybody answer each question?

email to be sure you get your money back. I would do both withdraw and call or email about the process.They are in no hurry to assist you with anything. LOL

I definitely think it’s a good sign. With how ridiculously competitive these schools are, I am grateful even to be a side guy/last resort. It means they see something special in us. We just aren’t the 4.0/520/working on curing cancer types they are eager to admit, and I think we all know that.

Exactly- I know I’m not the greatest applicant statistically and I appreciate any chance they are willing to give me. If I am given that shot and go on an interview, I will show them they made the right choice. Until then, nothing we can do but wait for the opportunity. Good luck to everyone!!!!

I feel like maybe someone should.... like I'm starting to wonder why our apps haven't even been looked at..

Apparently Drexel doesn’t do a waitlist until the end of the cycle and so if you’re not accepted/rejected post II you are deferred. Your app will remain active in later decision meetings. Idk I see it as basically the same as a waitlist but I guess you still have a possibility of being rejected.

Anyone have any clue about how many II's they are extending? Or what the heck we should be expecting
 
Does anyone know/have historical data about the # of "holds" that get IIs? I have a deposit down at another school not expecting to hear anything from Drexel, and then this hold email came! Looking back at SDN from last year, I see one "hold" that got an II, but if anyone has real stats or first-hand knowledge, I'd really appreciate hearing it! I'd love a chance to interview. Thanks!

Don't have any first hand knowledge, but based on previous threads, the hold email is essentially a delayed rejection. Take your other acceptance and run far far away lol
 
when do their adcom meet? its been awhile from the last decision date i feel. sorry if i already asked this question
 
If you haven't heard anything for months, check the application portal. I've heard nothing since August but my application portal yesterday night showed that I had an interview invite...but I never got an email. I went back and checked my spam and trash folders and still no email (the only email I have from Drexel is the app complete email in August). So idk how long this II has been active.
 
Got deferred post-II. Interviewed 12/6. Weird because I got deferred hours after I got into another school. Would they waitlist you even if you got an acceptance? Especially since schools can now see where you are accepted...
