Does anyone know when they start directly calling applicants regarding acceptances off the waitlist?
Based on last year, they start doing it after their class is full. Last year it was after June 15. They will send you an email informing you.Does anyone know when they start directly calling applicants regarding acceptances off the waitlist?
For the CPM course during M1 and M2, you'll be rotating in clinics about 4 times per semester--some of these locations are only accessible via car! And from what I've heard it's randomized where you end up.
I have also been wondering about thisHas anybody heard anything in regards to financial aid/loans/scholarships??
What day were you accepted?Just as I was losing hope for this cycle, I was accepted last week. My first acceptance off of 7 waitlists. Wishing the best outcome for everyone still waiting to hear!

I called them up recently, apparently the last time they took some one off was a week and a half ago.
Thanks for the information. So I'm guessing they don't expect much movement to occur in the coming weeks?I called them up recently, apparently the last time they took some one off was a week and a half ago.
They said anything could happen up to until classes begin, however movement will be rare if anything I guess. Thanks for the information. So I'm guessing they don't expect much movement to occur in the coming weeks?

I believe you should have recieved a scholarship offer with your acceptance, if you were to get one.Hello everyone! I was accepted off the WL here this morning! The email did not come with any financial aid offer, so I was wondering whether anyone here knows anything about the aid process? It seems like most of the scholarships listed on the website are either for current students and/or for NY State residents. Is there any need-based aid, or does everyone just take out loans in the full amount? Can you become a state resident after the first year, or do you have to pay OOS tuition all 4 years? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Congratulations on your acceptance! (Current M3 here). You can apply for in-state tuition after your first year, I know many people who did that and are paying NYS tuition for years 2-4. Definitely give the UB financial aid office a call and inquire about scholarships/financial aid, and look into the NYS resident conversion when you get here because you’ll need a bunch of annoying paperwork and it’ll save you a headache in the future when you’re applying for second year instate tuition. Buffalo is a very affordable city and I hope that you attend! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.Hello everyone! I was accepted off the WL here this morning! Does anyone know how to pay the orientation fee? When I click the link, I keep getting redirected to the SBI site, but there's nothing related to the medical school there 🙁
What did you decide?I have to compare finances before I decide. I come from an extremely low income background, so this is a very important factor for me.
