ACCEPTED GOT THE EMAIL THIS MORNING!! I am beyond happy omg

Okay okay, so stats. I interviewed Feb 8th, got accepted 43 days later. 3.6 GPA, 510 MCAT, 6 years experience as a paramedic currently working in a mobile intensive care unit. Worked as a medic during college to pay my way through. I got the II sometime in December I think.. I'm busting Jerry, I'm busting!

Hope to see everyone from my interview date there i was the one that made the smiley face out of the candy in one of the interview break rooms

Yups. Who knows. I'm pretty sure it's random. It doesn't seem like the people who heard back later were at any disadvantage. I guess we'll see, but there's always hope.

Yes i think so! I dont feel tall but maybe I'm just used to it. I'm 6'4

True but people have been waitlisted. Maybe they're letting our application hang while they decide, like a silent deferred status.
OR less likely, our application just got lost

To all my other homies who interviewed on 2/8 I called the admission office today asking when we would know by. She said there is not set date but that it’s likely we will find out soon and they will notify us before people from other interview dates. Also she was pretty much begging me to understand that just because we haven’t heard anything back doesn’t mean anything about how the committee feels about our application/Interview, so that was nice to hear (even though I didn’t even ask anything about that haha). Good luck everyone!!!

To be fair, we've only seen one person on here from the 3/2 interview day who heard back. Otherwise it doesn't seem like anyone past 2/8 (and some of us from 2/8) have heard back yet.

EDIT: I just realized someone else from 2/9 heard back. I'm not entirely sure how the process works..

You get and email and the portal updates with a tab that says Admission decision

Honestly that's the million dollar question. I'm not sure to be completely honestly I think (or would like to think) that it was a combination of a decent upward trend, my experiences and solid essays. Being a URM may have also played a factor.

Had an interviewer tell me my PS was one of the most, if not THE most touching he had read in over 20yrs.

My group was told 3-4 weeks in February. I also know someone who’s been waiting for about 7 weeks now. Don’t hold your breath

I don't know if you all saw this in the packet they gave on interview day, but it said that if you don't hear back on an acceptance or rejection that means you are put onto the alternate list. They might not necessarily email you to update you on your status if you are on the alternate list.

I called the admissions office last Thursday and asked when they would get back to people who interviewed in the first week of March. She said they want to send decisions out 2 weeks from then. So maybe they will be sending more acceptances, waitlist, and rejections next week?

Actually, they tend to come at 9 am on any day.
Mine came on a Tuesday at 9 am on the dot.

They sent about 6 emails, the first of which said 'CONGRATULATIONS' so they are good about eliminating doubt. But yesterday was Good Friday/Passover so that might explain why they have been absent.

So this may be because I'm out of state, but my emails did not come at 9 Eastern time at all. Got multiple emails within a two hour time frame later in the day, so don't worry!

Mine came at 9 am, I'm from Michigan. They basically bombard you with a bunch of emails at the same time.
