Hey! Do you mind maybe asking them if they are in fact waiting for CASPer scores to be released first?

Not officially confirmed, but a faculty member who used to be on admissions believes this to be the case.

I was notified by the admissions office they are still working on rolling out a new portal and it should be done any day now. As soon as that is done they will send secondaries out.

Secondary received. Two required essays. Prompts below. Both 500 word limit.

Please reflect on a difficult and challenging non-academic experience you have faced. Include a description of the stressful event, how you dealt with it and what you have learned about others and yourself through this process.

The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont strongly values diversity. Larner COM recognizes that diversity extends beyond chosen and unchosen identities, and encompasses the entirety of an individual’s experiences. These experiences embody many dimensions that include (but are not limited to) the personal, familial, geographic, intellectual, economic, professional, linguistic, and societal domains. Thus, each and every member of the Larner COM community brings a unique perspective to a shared goal of training compassionate and competent physicians. With this in mind, please reflect on your own diverse experiences and how those will allow you to successfully participate in teams and engage in active learning with your peers at the Larner COM. When composing your response please consider how these experiences impacted your understanding of others and yourself as well as any new insights gained.

Congratulations! Did you take the 6/28 Casper?

Does anyone know how long it takes CASPer to send scores to a newly added school? I know it takes 2-3 weeks to process after the test itself, but what about adding an additional school when scores are ready?

I don't think they're taking Casper into account for screening. I haven't taken it yet (taking it today) and I just got the secondary.

To everyone with secondary- what day were you amcas verified?

Still no secondary here - taking casper later today, verified pretty early in june :\

I was AMCAS verified 6/1, took casper 6/28 and still no secondary. Be patient my frens

Just got secondary!

Not sure what we're supposed to write for "Residency History." Does it mean if we've ever been a resident of Vermont or want a history of everywhere we've been a resident?

Literally 2 minutes after I posted this it came in... *x-files music intensifies*

I dont think it takes for very long. I took CASPER 7/9 and added Vermont last week and just got secondary. Once the score is out, it should go to school pretty quickly

got secondary today! super happy cause im OOS with sub-perfect scores but living in NE for the past couple years. do they actually screen?

MSAR says they screen, but I don't know the criteria.

Received and submitted secondary today. Taking CASPer today as well.
