Zzz... any news on WL mvmt??

Email mentions that waitlist movement doesnt start until mid-May so just keep on waiting. I know it's stressful, but hold on out.

I emailed Wake recently and the adcom meeting is this week but we won’t be notified for another week or so.

Did they say what day they would be meeting? Last year it looked like they met on a Monday and decisions were send by EOB Tuesday. Hopefully its a one day turnaround like last year.

It sounded like it will take a week after they meet.

Most likely end of May and latest would be sometime in June since we start LAUNCH early July. Just stay tuned. We will be notified with plenty of time to spare.

Just got an acceptance to Wake via email. OOS 510 MCAT 3.63 GPA

I am turning it down to go to my hometown medical school however due to some family things that came up. I loved Wake though and hope one of you SDN-ers gets my spot.

I just emailed them and they replied “the class is full at this time. We will continue to accept students as spots become available which often happens from no until the first day of class”. RIP I just died

I’ve been on the waitlist since midOctober. If that’s true, they’ve seen me the entire time and kept passing. Man.

The class is currently full but if space becomes available they will pull from the wait list.

Their portal is not active at this time as there is no additional status updates that will be submitted.

I legitimately starting crying when I got the call. I can’t tell you how happy I was. I’ve been studying to retake the MCAT for the last month to prepare for reapplying.

I can’t tell you how liberating it is. I felt lost—as if I had been lying to myself about doing medicine.

To those still waiting. Keep the faith. I know it’s hard and seems nebulous, but know that you’re capable people and that’s applications can be a crap shoot sometimes

It took me 3 tries before it got in. I know the feeling, but it worked out in the end.

I have been on the waitlist since October 15th and I think today is officially the day I am letting go of hope. I have done all I can possibly do this cycle and I’ve already reapplied. It’s been a ride folks!
