I interviewed mid September and they didn't say anything about 10/15. Really hoping to hear around then though.

end of sept they told us its generally 4-5 weeks

I interviewed early/mid september on one of the first days and they said to expect decisions around the 15th.

The food scene in Manayunk is much better and only a few minutes from East Falls. However, there are a ton of places that deliver so it depends on what you’re hungry for.

Yeah I interviewed literally the first day and with 2 WL today Im hoping for some positive clout to grace my inbox so I can eat out of happiness instead of stress/sadness (but really just want any excuse to eat buffalo wings)

Last year's thread had people from our interview timeline hearing back a couple days after the 15th, but that may be bc the 15th fell on a weekend last year, so who knows. I'd eat those wings if I were you fam, you deserve it

Yeah the other 2 schools heard back later in the week and I got both today. Want to hear today just because I wanna get it over with, get that 3rd thicccccc WL, and have a cortisol spike for the next 7 months

I interviewed here the first day and loved the vibe. Make sure you all check you spam folders! Some people last year found their emails from Drexel there (I found my II there as well).

Lol that's fair, but I applied to 26 schools and have 1 II so far so I'm seeing what's possible

Drexel is a really low yield school. At this point it's highly unlikely you'll get something from here.

How does one stay positive yet realistic? I've heard its early in the process that doesn't help with the anxiety. When should I start seriously looking at gap year options or looking for jobs and forgo medical school?

Withdrew my app from here and a few other schools after a couple A's yesterday. Wish you all well!

p.s. I would encourage anyone who knows they would not attend a school if accepted (due to other acceptances or changes of heart) to withdraw from that school as soon as you can. It really helps fellow applicants out!

Theres no specific date. I know in your perspective thats not the answer you are looking for but its the truth. If by the end of october or november you haven't gotten one interview (assuming you turned in your apps in July/ early August), then you should prob see it as a real possibility, but not to say its guaranteed. I would say if you get NOTHING but rejections by January/ february, then you should prob go ahead and make other plans for next year. You can also apply to DO schools in case as well.
