2018-2019 Temple University

For those on the continuing candidates list: can we send letters of interest now, or do we have to wait until April?

"Students are notified of the Committee decision several weeks after the interview. Some candidates may be placed on the continuing candidate list after interview, and will be considered after April 30th through August. Each application cycle is unique and different so the number of students taken off the wait-list varies from year to year. LKSOM encourages applicants on the continuing-candidate list to send letters of interest starting in April."

This was on the Temple website. I just sent one last week before I saw this, so I hope it doesn't hurt my chances!

Got II today, LM 74.8, secondary was fully complete mid-november. Looks like the last remaining available interview date is 2/20. There is (some) hope for the late applicant!
Congratulations!

I heard Temple interviews through March. Does anyone know if they are cutting their interview season short this year or are those days in March likely already filled?

I interviewed in November and when I got the email in late October they only had dates available early-mid November, so what I mean is they may open up more dates and send more interviews for March but haven't done that yet! In my experience there was only a couple weeks between the email and the last available interview date for Temple

Does anyone know if there are post-II rejections or is everyone just put on the continuing candidates list?

Hey! Has any who has interviewed at St. Luke's decide to also tour the Lewis Katz SOM campus? Is there a free shuttle that goes between St. Luke's and Temple University? And does it affect our admission chances if we decide not to tour the other campus? Coming from the west coast, I'm very apprehensive about driving in the snow...

I did not interview at St. Luke's but PA is really good about clearing snow from roads so I would not worry about that. Unless it's a blizzard which is rare.

I was frantically checking my email today and nothing.

Does anybody have a decision? I know they were posted pretty early in the morning in December

Really? In december I know it was early in the morning. I hope you're right

When I got my decision in December I checked the TUportal at 8am on a wednesday (coincidentally when my train pulled into Temple's train station during my morning commute) my status had changed from applicant to admitted. An email showed up later at 10am. So if everything is the same-those that are accepted will see a status change in the morning. Fingers crossed for everyone, good luck!

Thanks for the info! I was reallllyyy hoping it would be today because its wednesday but its looking unlikely

Actually I might as well ask, does anyone know if the St. Luke's campus sends out decisions at a different day?

If I were to interview now, would I basically be interviewing to be put on waitlist, or could an acceptance possibly come out of it?
Not sure if I should withdraw or not because of this.

I loved interviewing here so I recommend attending unless you have an A to your top school or the cost is prohibitive

Anyone who interviewed 11/6 or 11/7 heard back? I interviewed at St. Luke's and haven't heard anything. Starting to get paranoid I missed their letter in the mail...

At my interview at St. Luke’s, they said they send their interview decisions to the Philly admissions office and then the philly campus sends them out to applicants, so my guess is we’ll hear the same day.

I interviewed here today, and they said decisions for folks who interviewed earlier will come out this week. So latest Friday for you guys I guess
Thanks! I was wondering if maybe they were interviewing today which is why they didn't send them out. Fingers crossed for tomorrow
