I felt this was my best interview as well. Well, maybe not my best? But the admissions committee memebers sure seemed like they wanted me to do well.
interviewed yesterday, waitlisted today
No, but I emailed them to make sure they got the mailed letter and deposit and they said yes, and my spot was secure. No mention of an acceptance packet though.I put my money down 10/25 and mailed in the required signed paper, I still haven’t received an acceptance packet. Has anyone gotten one?
Yes there are two open file interviews and possibly a third. My interviewers had taken notes on my entire amcas application and on my little essay we had to write as well. Mine were very conversational and I only had like a total of four questions asked between the two interviews. They are super nice and try to make you feel comfortable. I also had one ethical question which wasn’t too bad. I thought it was a phenomenal day and they left a much better impact than some of the other schools I have interviewed at. Good luck you’ll do great! Can anyone who interviewed at UB and was accepted give any feedback on their interview day experiences. I understand that there are two one-on-one interviews and possibly a third one. Is the interview open or closed file? any negative feedback? things to look out for? Are there any ethical questions or problem solving questions?
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Damn that's a fast turnaroundInterviewed yesterday, Accepted today. Are there any current OOS students that I could talk to about their experience a this school?
Can any current students speak to why you chose UB? I've had lots of trouble finding student testimonials about the school.
Have you interviewed there? I think they make a pretty solid case for choosing UB.Can any current students speak to why you chose UB? I've had lots of trouble finding student testimonials about the school.

+1 on late augustLate August, I am hoping no news is good news, we will see
SAMEKind of surprised how little buzz this forum has for buffalo. Would have thought there would be more interviews? Guess they're just not posting here.
I want to interview here and come home!! 🙁
Waitlisted today and that makes me feel so much better thanks for sharing! Do you happen to know if they got accepted in April? Or do they send out acceptances sooner? It's my understanding that buffalo wait lists the vast majority of the students that end up matriculating. For the students who were accepted outright today and not wait listed, would you mind sharing stats? Every single one of the 15+ current buffalo students I have spoken to said they were first wait listed then accepted later in the process, so don't lose hope guys!
Definitely don't lose hope, I am pretty sure many people come off the waitlist. My friend was waitlisted and got in by May, and then is now an M1.Waitlisted today and that makes me feel so much better thanks for sharing! Do you happen to know if they got accepted in April? The only problem with this school is that they randomly select to reviewYes same boat, patiently waiting. I sent an update and they said the decision about interview is still being made

The two interviewers compare how they "score" the interviewee. If there's a large enough discrepancy between the two interview scores they'll give a third interview.Received an II Monday. On interview day, does anyone know why some students receive three interviews while other students have 2 interviews?

Thanks, I think July 19thCongrats! When were you complete?

I want to stay here too
So they don't send out interviews in order of completion date?
They literally review applications on a lottery basisNo. Seems to be stratified by application competitiveness to be honest.
