I think I do? low SES, i don't know about underserved since I am Asian but many of my activities were focused on volunteering in undersreved areas.
other than that it is my 3rd application, not really... my application has been improving over 3 years toowere there any red flags in your app/ secondary? @shawn2547
If you haven't received a rejection for the 2018 cycle, you should email them and clarify whether the rejection was for 2018 or 2019.other than that it is my 3rd application, not really... my application has been improving over 3 years too

Ask the wise gyngyn nicely. I have no responsibility for threads. It’s the prompt for the secondary. Could you update the original post? Thanks...........
They have pulled all the activities from AMCAS application and below all that they state:
Activities
Extracurricular Interests and Activities
Please provide a list of those activities that were most important to you in terms of developing your academic, social, and overall personal growth. Please list those activities as indicated below. Limit your responses to the space provided, dragging the most important activities to the top.
and give room to add: activity type, description (the box is super small so I am assuming just the name of the activity), start and end dates, hours

Really look at the school's mission, I am a UCR alumni applying and just based off my experiences with different programs at the UCRSOM they are very mission-driven so highlight that in your secondary. Feel free to PM and I can give you some ideas about what I am including in my pre-writing as I am waiting to get verified!Any tips or insider wisdom for filling out this secondary, Goro? I am so excited getting a secondary after screening, and really hope to do well! ..........
Sorry about that! Thank you.Ask the wise gyngyn nicely. I have no responsibility for threads...........
That's what I did 🙂Can anyone tell me what we are suppose to do here? Do we just duplicate the AMCAS activities and rank them in the order of "importance"???
Yeah, don't fill it out if you have no tie to the Inland Empire.Any tips or insider wisdom for filling out this secondary, Goro? I am so excited getting a secondary after screening, and really hope to do well! ..........
Try to expand on experiences you've had and give them examples of the work you've done. They have a lot of questions so you have plenty of places to go into detail. Their focus is the underserved so if you have experiences in this you should highlight what you've learned and how you plan to transfer these skills as a medical student. Looking at their mission is a good place to start!Any tips or insider wisdom for filling out this secondary, Goro? Congrats! Didn't think they would send them out so early. Were you notified by email? As someone with the same LM score and from the IE hopefully I hear some good news soon.
Nah, go for it. You're overthinking it!Hi all! I'm pretty new here. I received a secondary from UCR last week and the question I'm struggling most with is the first one asking to describe the single most important event/non-academic activity.
I have other hobbies listed on my primary that I do now and I was going to write about one of those, but I already talked about it in my PS. I then remembered/thought about a hobby I used to do, and drafted an answer to this question, but I never mentioned it in my primary application, mainly because I don't do it as often now as I'd like to.
This activity is still important to me, but would it reflect poorly at all if I talked about it as a "most important non-academic activity" and didn't even list it in my primary?
Hi! I have an upcoming interview here. What was interview day like? And do you have any tips?hey y’all, I’m an MS1 and totally understand the stress of the cycle. trust. Let me know if you have any questions! I’d be happy to help if i am qualified to answer your questions 🙂
Same here and i just submitted today so I am assuming everyone has it.When y'all go into your portal, does it say "interview" in the application status page with a little lock image? In the notes it says "Not scheduled yet" I just saw this today and just about had a heart attack. Haven't gotten any emails about interviews yet so probably fake news.

Interview day at UCR is very chilled out compared to some other schools. They make you feel very comfortable! UCR is a very mission driven school and I saw this reflected in my interview day in the way the dean spoke and the energy everyone had. I found it helpful to understand their mission and how it fit into my own personal goalsHi! I have an upcoming interview here. What was interview day like? And do you have any tips?
Congrats! What’s the interview calanedar like?II today! Complete 07/25.
Congrats! What’s the interview calanedar like?
On my portal, a lock next to Interview with "not schedule yet" shown. Does this mean my app is still under review?
Thanks. Out of all my AMP secondary portals, this is only one with the extra lock and a status for "interview". Got me gasped for a second. If it means anything at all, it's probably that. I asked the same thing after I submitted my app but apparently everyone gets that message after submitting.

I had a committee letter and I got an II so I'd say yes.Can someone let me know if a committee letter will fulfill the LOR requirements?
