Also just the home tab. Don’t worry, that makes me nervous because nothing appeared. BUT, I’ll take any hope over no hope
 
Let's logic this out like true pre-meds:

Pros: Tabs seem to be the determining factor for acceptance so far. Also, maybe that's a sly way of saying "No need to even think about withdrawing, buddy; your accepted!"

Cons: If we can't withdraw our application, maybe that means that our application is no longer in the system and we're just waiting for a rejection letter tonight. Also, this is a different tab change than we've seen so far.

+1, the withdraw tab was still there when my acceptance tabs appeared.
BUT if I remember correctly, there was a previous point where the withdraw tab disappeared then reappeared for some people and it didn't really mean anything, it was just a tech glitch, so try not to read too much into anything!!

Don't wanna be this guy, but looking back at last years thread, a lot of the people who had withdraw button disappear ended up getting an R :shy:

Hope I'm wrong and it's just a glitch!

Just checked and I Still have the hold message. This is nerve wracking
 
Interviewed on the last interview day 3/6/19. My application portal still says hold for possible acceptance, this is nerve wracking. Anyone know around what time they should be updating the portals today?

I interviewed the same day and have the same message but my "withdraw application" tab on the side disappeared.
 
I just called the admissions office. They said the last offer date was technically March 1st, the March 16th date listed on our portal was wrong and they were trying to fix that lollll. They said I'm on the alternate list when I asked about my specific application and that the wait list is ranked but only admissions can see the rankings. Interviewed 3/6/19. Withdraw application tab still there.

Why in the world would they have two weeks of interviews just to put everyone on the waitlist? Why would they plan to release the last batch of offers before our applications were reviewed? Seems like a waste of our time and their time.
 
Anyone else getting an error page when they try to open the portal? Once I reload it, it's back to normal.

Hey at least we have acceptances already. Im expecting an R because my ta is gone but thought my interview went fairly well compared to my other schools where I got the WL. This process is so weird and random so I try to not assume anything anymore haha

yes still had the witthdraw tab when admissions told me I was waitlisted, but the status was not updated on my portal so it still said hold for possible acceptance. However now when i try to login to my portal, i am getting an error

I switched to chrome on my computer and it didn't work. BUT... I got it to work on my phone. My withdraw tab is still there btw.

VCU seems to be very ambiguous this cycle. Lets hope my lack of withdraw tab doesnt mean anything cuz I really liked the school.
