I interviewed on 11/02 so not as late but still waiting. Im coming up on the 30 days they mentioned and haven't heard a thing
 
During interviews is there a place to store your luggage by chance?
 
Is there parking available? I'll be driving in tomorrow and totally forgot to ask 🙂

I completed on Nov 5 and got SC status on Nov 20. None of this makes sense. MR, SS, SC, it's all BS. People get interviews from all 3, which makes no sense why they would categorize people. Maybe it's initials of the reviewers for all we know.
 
Does anyone know the area well and could give me advice on where to look for housing? I just want to get an idea of prices/ where are good places to look.
 
Pretty sad that I haven't gotten an II here yet. OSS, LM 74, with a lot of family that live all around the Metro Detroit area. Complete late August.

Even after scheduling it still shows the sent date? I guess it doesn’t matter too much because it’s an earlier interview all things considered. But I’d feel like a total ***** also.
 
If they're already scheduling into February I take it all IIs have gone out, or essentially all of them
 
Wait, so they're done?? The school I was most hopeful about on sdn never gave me an interview. ...it sucks to suck

Hate to be this person but chillllllll lol. Last year they sent II until Dec 20. Also hate to sound like a pretentious douche but I’ve been accepted to Top Tier schools and that hasn’t stopped me from being left on read(SC) by Wayne. So in all fairness give yourself some self love and realized you don’t suck just because you don’t meet whatever criteria Wayne is looking for this year.

They have some box way at the top called 'MD: Interview invitation' and some text that says 'click here to schedule' will light up with a link. I remember last round this same website design caused a few students to miss their II and Wayne just said tough luck and try again next year.

Looks like they pulled a fast one and changed it from April to February. I was able to schedule my II in December so there still hope. They only need to give you 2 weeks notice.
 
For those talking about lack of II from wayne, they mentioned at my interview they were expecting to interview/invite 1200 applicants this cycle. I think the counter on their site has them at less than 900 right now

the counter on their site is definitely not updated. it has been on that for weeks
 
Okay Im still royally confused: Do we need to do anything to accept our offer of acceptance? If so, how? I can't figure out how to access my new "Wayne State email." Why is this so confusing?

Edit: Also, has anyone accepted on 11/20/18 received anything in the mail yet?

Go to your portal, scroll to the bottom where there’s is two links and it says like “Wayne state connect” then click on it. Then on the page that comes up click “visit connect” or something like that (I’m on my phone so I can’t remember) then use your portal credentials to sign in. From there ckuckin “outlook” email and there is an email in there to accept it.

I was accepted 11/20 and have yet to receive anything in the mail
 
I’m a Canadian applicant, LM 69, submitted secondaries to all my schools of choice around mid July to Mid August. I have been rejected from 2 schools but they were top 15 med schools. The rest of the mid tier schools I applied to I haven’t heard anything from them except that my application is complete. Is this normal? Are they keeping my application on a “maybe” list or something because I’m an international applicant? I applied to “Canadian Friendly” schools which from my knowledge treat us the same as OOS.

Hey Blue,

I'm also a Canadian in the exact same situation. Two rejects in 14 applications, and mostly no replies, LM 79. My best guess (and hope) is that schools wait until late in the cycle to consider Canadian applicants. I have also heard that there were some regulatory changes as far as how much info a school can see regarding your other applications, and that may have affected the odds for Canadian students in this year's cycle. But these are both just guesses. PM me if you want! I'm also curious about what's going on. Wayne state is my #2 school and I've been on SS since september 4th.

Tried Pm’ng but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve also been SS since Sep 4. I hope that these schools do start contacting us Canadians soon because it seems like a lot of the II have already been sent.
