If I got an II, but wanted to not schedule it because I already got into my top choice, should I email them that I won’t be scheduling it? The email just said to schedule it by 12/4 but if I don’t schedule it, will they just assume I’m not going to go?? Sorry if this is confusing, just asking for advice

I think they would appreciate an email letting them know that you will not be attending.

Sorry if this was already addressed, but could any current students shed light on what the exams/grading is like? Are they NBME exam questions? Or a mix of both recycled and professor-created questions?

At the end of each block, we have two portions for the final. 1 is in-house questions and the other is NBME questions

for general grading scheme
pre clinical P/F where pass is 70% or above (i think there is no internal ranking during preclinicals)

we don't have any students doing rotations however they plan to do honors/high pass/pass/fail like most other medical schools for years 3/4

Waitlisted today, interviewed 11/22. Was really fond of this schools curriculum and programs. The dean made it seem like they accept a lot of people off the waitlist apparently, so hopefully I’m able to be one of them!

Does this school accept pre-II update letters? Submitted in August and have not heard anything since...

II! complete 6/21/19. Here are the only interview dates

Just got a II today as well! I was so quick to schedule the interview and didn’t read the front page about what to expect/where to go only to find out that information wasn’t available after scheduling. Can anyone DM what it said?

It didn’t have any info! i was going to ask about this too. I was thinking they will send follow-up with details closer to march??

Oh okay! What style interview is it?
You have one open file interview with a faculty (some interviewees had 2 faculty in the room because the second person was observing but apparently they didn’t participate) and then you take a personality test but it’s not used for the admissions decision

The waitlist email didn't say anything explicit about updates/letters of interest. Does anyone know if they accept these?

Did you, or anyone else, call and find out that they don't accept pre-II updates? I couldn't find anything on their website about it.

This is what I found on their website and also other current students also mentioned it some time ago, I think.

Yes. To my knowledge all MD deposits are refundable by that date. Tends to be only DO deposits that are non-refundable
