That’s true, but I value the psychological comfort of a being in a hotel so that I can get a better night’s rest the night before. I think I’ll only stay with current students that I already know or am close with.

Completely understandable! I can give you recs on hotels and the like, just PM me. Just letting people know it’s always an option if they’re looking to save some $$$.

Hey guys, also an MS1 in my first real week of school. I feel like everyone says this but please be patient with hearing back for IIs. I submitted mine in early July last year, got my II in Oct/Nov, interviewed in Jan and here I am today. Just because others submitted later than you or others have gotten IIs before you doesn't mean you won't! Good luck! I'll try to check back a bit if you guys have Qs.

Hey guys! I am looking for some advice here. I got the secondary exactly 29 days ago. I have completed my undergrad here, however, I am an international student. I got a 512 with a 3.9 with a great life story, not sure if it is worth writing all the essays if there is probably no return. What do you guys think? Thank you very much!

None of us can tell you whether or not you will get in, but you should at least try.

Depends on the nature of your "great life story." If it is truly great, then go for it. If not, I'd pass.

With the Duke secondary, one pays twice, once with your money, and then with your time.

It took maybe six hours of my time. I would say that it’s worth it.

There are still a ton of people submitting applications currently, especially those waiting on MCAT scores. It's advantageous to get it in ASAP obviously, but I'd say you're definitely not too late.
