Does any one know if there was another wave of acceptances sent out on the 15th of November or if there is any indication that there will be another wave soon? Thanks.
Their class size is 180.Does anyone know how many students they will seat in a class?
Anyone who interviewed this month (11/1 for myself) not have TTUHSC on their TMDSAS list to rank yet? I'm guessing I shouldn't worry until January?
Also, I interviewed for FMAT. I have read prior threads but still not clear... will I not hear back re: acceptance to FMAT until after match/ only if I match? Or is it treated like other combined programs and is rolling?
+1I haven’t received an interview invite from ttuhsc, but I just received an email with a link to create an eraider account. At this point, I had assumed they were done sending out interviews, so I’m confused why I got the this email. Has anyone else received these instructions?
I also received that email, along with another one about meningitis vaccination laws? Me too. I don't know if they will follow up with the interview invite later or if this was an accident, but I'm filling it out. Hopefully they send us interview invites!I also received that email, along with another one about meningitis vaccination laws? Strange.

Sorry to be a bummer y’all but last years applicants got the same email and nothing came out of it. Not sure why they send it.
Congrats. Do you mind telling us the mcat and gpa scores (dont have to be exact if you dont want to). I havent received anything from them yet.I pre-matched and was accepted to the FMAT program and it was in the same letter.

Hey!Hello everyone! I have 3 questions:
1. Historically, does TTUHSC send another wave of prematches in December after the first big one?
2. If I interviewed during the first few weeks in August but didn’t get prematched, do I still have the same chance of getting matched?
3. Is there anyone else who also interviewed (but did NOT prematch) get the eraider email? I didn’t get the email but I want to know if there was a reason for the emails or it’s just random.
Thanks to anyone who can answer at least one of these questions!

I interviewed in El Paso, received the email, but did not pre-match. I did call the Monday after I received the email and they said it didn't mean anything...but I've been asking the same in the El Paso thread, because I was able to set up the account and have access to several portals including the "student.ttuhsc.edu". Have you been able to set up the account and have access to these portals as well? I'm hoping it's a good sign.
Yeah I guess we'll just have to wait until the 1st! thanks for the reply, nice to know I'm not the only one. Now I can keep a normal amount of hope. Best of luck!Yeah, I feel that it doesn't mean anything. I had friends get it without prematch. Then I got it without prematch. If they said on the phone that it doesn't mean anything, then it doesn't. Let's not get false hopes from this but keep our standard hopes from before we got this. Anyways, it's nice to have some portal access and your name tied in.
IIRC, the message shows up on my portal too but I found out back in September that TTUHSC never got my CASPer and had to contact CASPer to get it resent. I would call TTU and/or email them in order to get a written confirmation that they have your results.Hello everyone,
I think I’m being a little neurotic here, but I just want to confirm just in case. Does anyone else still have this message “Please remember that: You are required to take the CASPer test, on or before 11/19/2019, in order to maintain acceptance eligibility” still on their TTUHSC portal?
I took CASPer a while back and am just worried if I still have this message because my score never got sent to them, or everyone still has this message. The CASPer website states the results were delivered.
Thanks everyone!

Oh wow. See, that’s exactly why I was worried because I never received any confirmation about them receiving my CASPer exam.
Did they email you or how did you find out that your score never got sent?
Thank you so much for that information!
when did you interview, @krish2012?
OOS offers can be made at any time after Oct 15. No more than 10% of the class can be OOS.Can anyone tell me how OOS works at Texas schools with the match? Like do they send out notifications on Feb 1 with everyone else?
Not needed. They will double check whether you have taken all your pre- reqs after an offer of admission, before you enroll.should I send an update letter to tell them I'm taking a prereq course I didn't mention before? where should I send it?
Be very specific and check the pre-requisite rules for each school where you interviewed! This would be an awful reason to not be able to attend, and you could still have time to take the English classes if they won't accept AP credits. What if I didn't take 6 credit hours of English at my university, and instead claimed 6 hours of AP credit? Do both AP Lang and AP Lit count as English prereqs?
Edit: It seems like at UT Austin, AP Lang (RHE 306) and AP Literature (E 316P) both count as premed English classes... I hope that claiming credit for both counts!

You should be able to see on TMDSAS if they put those classes in your sheet of prereqs fulfilled. Homepage of TMDSAS under “2020 PCR” link.
This type of question is best asked directly to TMDSAS via the internal messaging feature. You will sign in and message them your inquiry. Response time is quick and you’ll get your answer from the source.I checked my PCR and it has all the pre reqs listed but it shows in the top left corner that the PCR has not been validated. Is this an issue?
My undergrad GPA doesn't need to be updated with Fall 2019/Spring 2020 grades since I graduated May 2019.
Close to home, by far the most chill and enjoyable interview, loved the students I met, hospital is close byIf anyone is ranking TTUHSC high on their TMDSAS list, can you share why? And what about the program you loved most? TIA!
Do you guys know when the classes end during the day for preclinical years? I’m not sure if they mentioned this on the interview day?
I haven’t been able To find this in my notes either. But I believe they said it depends on the subject block, with some being morning and others afternoon blocks? Were You able to find a typical weekly schedule?
First year you are typically done by noon unless there's a mandatory meeting or activityThanks for the info!
So I’m guessing classes aren’t all day long?
First year you are typically done by noon unless there's a mandatory meeting or activity
Second year, classes start around one and run until five
Class is not mandatory though
