Does anyone know when they hold committee reviews / do they send out prematches during the entirety of the prematch period or just on Oct 15 and then Feb 3? I interviewed last week.

I was under the impression that OOS could hear back as early as October 15 whereas instate wouldn’t first hear back until Nov. 15. Maybe I’m wrong?

It has been that way in the past, but this year Texas decided to allow pre-match offers to Texas applicants to go out as early as October 15 as well.

Do I have to pay the $100 to accept the prematch offer? Lubbock is 2nd on my list, and I just want to hear back from one other school but unsure it will release the decision within 2 weeks. Looking to hear back from y'all advice.

I would not recommend counting on another decision coming out in 2 weeks; accept interim offer while you wait, then rank schools as you wish for Match Day.
 
Thank you for your answer. Can I accept the offer by just clicking the "accept the offer" button on the portal, or must I also pay the $100 Placement Guarantee Fee to accept the offer?

You probably do have to pay it. Can anyone else accepted by Texas Tech today answer this question?
Not all TX schools ask for a deposit.
At least the deposit is not huge (1500 +) like at many DO schools!
 
Kind of specific question, but for the background check for Tech it asks about criminal history. Is a speeding ticket something I would want to put down here?
 
Just called them and they said you do have to pay the $100 deposit fee to officially accept the pre-match offer. It does not bind you to the school but it is required to officially accept a spot from your prematch offer 🙂

Are we suppose to receive an email regarding the eraider account? I interview 9/20 and have not received any sort of information
 
if u interviewed right before prematch day is it pretty much guaranteed that u will only hear back on match day at this school?
