Thank you! Honeslty, you never know what's going on and how they actually review apps, so don't stress it (this is me being a hypocrite however because I've been STRESSING hahaha)
If anyone is concerned about stats and interviews, at least here, I don't necessarily think they are reviewing by stats. My cGPA is below their 10th percentile accepted and I am in their first wave of interviews. Granted, I have a high MCAT, but it is still only their median. They may genuinely be aimed at a holistic review.

Honestly, me too. I was worried I had a red flag in my app or something because IIs have been going out from a few schools I applied to and I hadn't heard anything. But...it's too early to be stressed. Signed, another hypocrite.
Like even after getting this II I still feel like this is the last one I'll get hahaha

Is this to say that Uchicago is highly selective? Looks like 10% of applicants get an II...any idea what the post II yield is?
I didn't realize it was that high... kind of makes me feel worse about not having one. Lol. But their stats are high, so it could be self-selective in that a lot of high stats people apply.

Looks like it is a 13% interview rate and a 13% post-interview matriculation rate. If only schools reported acceptance numbers so we knew yield...because 13% post-ii is not encouraging 🙁

But acceptances >>> matriculants. I think I saw it in last year's UChicago thread that it's something like 33% post-II acceptance.

Honestly. I tried looking for acceptance numbers before matriculation but to no avail I hope acceptance rate is 33%. That would be much more encouraging. But gotta be grateful for the II at least!

Definitely!!!!!!!

Here is a link I found you people will enjoy:
It has all the interview/acceptance/matriculation data. Pritzker is sitting at 38% post II acceptance.

Are you able to share the text to the link/any idea where this data comes from?

If we were complete before the 9th, does that mean our application was already Looked at?
Not necessarily. Apps are not always reviewed in chronological order. There's still hope for us folks who haven't heard anything and were complete a while ago...

You think this is deff true? My app was completed late night on 7/8 and sucks that I wasn't in this next wave of II with people from 7/9 getting it haha
Idk. I submitted on 7/5, so I am hoping. But adcoms can prioritize apps based on URM, first-gen, disadvantaged, etc., etc. and review those first. In last year's thread someone submitted on 7/6 and ended up getting an interview invite in December or something like that. You never know. Obviously, don't count on it, but don't count yourself out until you get an R.

I want to be stressed about not hearing yet, but then again, I have no clue how MeSH applications are being reviewed... I'm still trying to get my last LoR into Harris....

For those who received an II, may I ask how many words were your two essays? Also, did you answer the optional essay? Thanks!

Do you know which other schools have started releasing IIs so far?

I was verified a week ago and still haven’t received my secondary, should I be concerned? I applied to more schools yesterday and got their secondaries already, but still no Pritzker.

AHAHAHA I just got the secondary few min after posting this. Thank you to whoever was watching this thread and saw I hadn’t gotten mine yet, or if it wasn’t a person thank the gods lol

Now that we have a good chunk of II going out, would be cool if anyone wanted to set up like group dinner or the like the night before?
